West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

How very filled with worries that being before him ways. Raven, it seemed, content to manifest those very worries into a near physical reaction as her hands turned one over the other in some representation of the very fear that accosted her system and the anxiety that seemed to ravage her in the absence of her mate and Alpha. He had been right to come, it seemed, even if there was little that could so be done on his own part to ease those very anxieties. If nothing else he could provide her only with that promise that, in the end, all would be well. In the end, her boys would come home to her even if they were not quote as they had been before. This very evening so destined to impact both his own son and Aiden's best friend and yet, in time, they would recover from even this. Resilience very near a badge of honour worn by both men in a way few others could attest to. Still- that very distress that seemed to afflict the young woman before him was disheartening. It...pained him to see her so nervous. Matteo, despite himself, so rarely willing to allow another to suffer when it was within his power to lessen it- his hand so reaching out to rest gently upon her own. The Frenchman ever mindful off her fear of sorts of strangers so engaging in touch. That gesture holding little but kindness as he offered those accented words only for Raven to whisper back some of the truth to the very fears that turned within her mind. Her father.

"I know. I can promise you though he will not come back today,or tomorrow or even the day after that. For tonight at least, Mon Amie, try to worry only for that which need worrying."

That she was unlikely to understand such a thing remained to be seen, his hand returned to himself a moment later before he strove to change that very subject and indeed offer her the very news he knew was most likely to eclipse even thoughts of her Father. Her future child. A child he had seen more then once within the future- one destined to be more than either of its parents ever had and one that would change several of the rules long held as law by the Were community itself- even if not in ways at all anticipated. That news, in the least, seemed to do just as he intended and draw her thoughts away from her worries and that very jest he had been content to make in regards to Tobias being the father of that child in turn. Raven, it seemed, perhaps not the type of woman inclined to enjoy jokes. How very unfortunate. Matteo offering that easy shrug in response to his seemingly poorly placed humor before providing those very answers to the questions she posed. Even if he remained near determined to keep the gender and name of that child to himself alone. Some surprises in life, after all, were so surely what made it worth living. Raven readily inclined to agree. Her voice so taking on a note of pride at her insistence such leadership was perhaps not unanticipated when her own bloodline was to be considered. Matteo nodding softly in agreement.

For several moments afterward he merely allowed that young woman to be alone with her thoughts as she worked to prepare that meal she had offered him. Matteo still assured he remained somewhat...hesitant over those very cheeses she had desired to use and yet so refused to disclose to him. The near ancient Fae withholding that ability to peer into the future of that sandwich for now when his talents were so required to watch over Tetradore and Tobias instead. His attention continued to rest upon Raven as she worked then. The woman a good, capable cook, her work methodical- before she turned to face him once more, leaning against that counter to query further on her future child. Those questions falling from her like water from a stream. Those anxieties, it seemed, had merely been redirected from that fear for her mate and Alpha to that worry off her children. In the very least the later perhaps held with it a positive note in turn- a promise of the future to look forward too. Matteo allowing that warm simper to touch his lips once more as his head nodded.

"You will be a good Mother, Raven and Tobias will not disappoint either you or your child as a Father. Though there will be some....interesting moments. Happiness will exist for your small family so do not fear that in the slightest. As for your other half, futures are rarely certain, but that other part of you is....animalistic and no wolf would ever bring harm to its pup. Have faith."

Whether or not she so noted that added information remained to be seen, that query on whether or not the child would suffer her affliction carefully avoided in turn. Matteo already aware of that answer and yet he saw little need to further her worries. Raven turned back to that sandwich then, the woman placing it on a plate she had so readily summoned (such an intriguing power) before offering him that plate in turn. Matteo eyeing that presentation near critically before gently lifting that sandwich to bite into it. His features displaying that hint of consideration before he nodded.

"It is better then I had anticipated, Mon Amie. You are a fine cook. Thank you."

Another bite was readily taken then, that faint red hue once more lingering within his gaze. Matteo near abruptly pausing mid-chew. Whatever future so tainted his gaze prompting the Frenchman into motion. That mouthful quickly swallowed as he stood near abruptly.

"I fear I must take my leave, the future has changed and I am needed elsewhere, but it has been a pleasure to get to know you a little better mademoiselle. I shall take this sandwich with me. Thank you again for it. I look forward to meeting your child one day, Raven. Both of them."

Why not afford her one more curious notion to consider? That near impish smile so touching his lips once more before the Frenchman rather abruptly disappeared from sight.
