West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Arya was a connoisseur of naps and just sleeping in general, but the sleep that pulled at her in these moments as lay on the pier was entirely different. It was exhaustion on a level she had never felt before. Her body felt considerably heavier than it normally did, and yet at the same time her head felt so light. With the adrenaline that had coursed through her veins now gone, the blood loss and energy exerted trying to swim to the Ark was beginning to add up. The seal had used some of her remaining strength to release a cry for help, an abrasive noise that was sure to get someone's attention as it reverberated through the towering walls of metal. And when she could no longer keep making noise, her body seemed to slump on the wood of the docks. Her eyes lids felt so heavy, and she fell into the temptation of closing them, slowly feeling herself begin to drift off into unconsciousness. But this was not the kind that led to worlds of dreams, this was an empty, cold slumber that terrified her. In the back of her mind hung the thought that she might not wake up, that no one will come and her blood with continue to run from her body until her heart stops pumping more of it. The very dark reality that there was a possibility she could die here was beginning to sink in.

Thankfully fate had other plans for her, at least on this night. The presence of another suddenly so close to her startled the seal. Amber eyes opened as she tried to clear her slightly blurred vision, trying to see who was in front of her. The baritone voice of Tetradore, the familiarity of it, sent a wave of relief through her body. He had heard her. He had come. She instinctively gravitated towards the comfort that seemed to radiate from him, pain shooting through her body as she couldn't stop herself from moving ever so slightly to rest her head on him. His gentle touch upon her head helped ease some of the fear that had left her heart rapidly beating moments before. Due to exhaustion, Arya was mildly delirious, forgetting in those moments that he could not hear her thoughts as she attempted to respond to his words. She chirped and chattered at him, almost like a seal trying to vocalize the words in her head. She quieted at his hush, offering only a sigh of relief as he promised to take care of her.

Arya knew what was about to happen was going to be far from pleasant. The young woman much preferring Tetradore freeing her from the spear than the diver who had impaled her in the first place; had that man yanked it from her, she might had accidentally lashed out in pain and bitten him, which would have caused a whole slew of new problems as he was certainly human. Her grey head nodded in an understanding way as she tried her best to relax, but apprehension and fear had a tight grip on her round, blubbery body. Amber eyes squeezed shut as she waited for him to pull, a sharp bark-like noise escaping her as he suddenly yanked the metal free. These particular spears were intended to stay impeded in the victim, meaning the barbs sliced open flesh on the way out and causing an agonizing pain to shoot through her. Her eyes watered as her breathing remained hard, the poor woman trying to catch her breath as that searing pain began to slowly dumb to something more tolerable. The gentle pressure he applied on the wound to try and cease its now increased bleeding caused the stout seal to groan in discomfort. This was officially the worst day ever, she thought, and now she definitely needed a nap.

Arya perked slightly as the dark haired man assured her the worst was over, but in order for him to properly help her with her wounds, she'd need to shift back. She vaguely caught the part where he asked if she was a Were, but it still didn't quite register that he didn't recognize her; her mind was struggling against the fog that wanted to cloud it. The seal stared at him for a moment, amber eyes finding his gentle emerald gaze. Arya grabbed at what strength she could and, with little thought about it, forced her body to shift back. The pain was horrible as the woman's body went from seal to human, and for a moment after the shift she was left laying there unable to move. With shakey arms, the now woman pushed herself into a sitting up position. A gentle hand pushed her brunette locks from her face before she groaned and rested her head in her hand for a minute. It was safe to say she was more than a little dazed.

Each intake of breath hurt, as the wound was positioned in such a way that every expansion of her lungs caused strain on it. Her other hand remained very limp as the cut on it stung. Her whole body shook ever so slightly, from cold and exhaustion. It took her a minute to look up, amber eyes blinking as she looked at Tetradore for the first time as a woman...a naked woman. She stared at him with a tired, blank expression as this realization began to set in that she was very naked in front of a man, in front of Tetradore. She glanced down for a second, then back up to the other Were. Amber eyes widened and, since her skin was even more pale than normal due to blood loss, her cheeks flushed a deep red; whatever blood she had to spare rushed to her face. Arya instantly tried to cover herself, one arm shooting over her chest and her legs being crossed so tightly. However this quick movement caused pain to shoot through her small frame. She yelped in pain, tears streaming down her face as her free hand reached to the wound on her side. "I'm sorry," she said quietly, embarrassment still flooding her over being seen naked.

This was definitely the worst day ever. And to add the cherry on top of her whole day her body finally started giving out on her. What miracle strength she had evaporated in an instantly, and her body began to wobble a little, struggling to stay upright. Amber eyes looked at him, but they were distant now, almost glossed over, as her mind began to slip away from her. "Tet...Tetra...." was all the young woman could manage as she collapsed. Hopefully he had cat like reflexes like his other half in order to catch her before she hit the wood of the docks. Her eyes blinked ever so slightly, even know she tried to fight to keep consciousness. If nothing else, Arya was resilient, a fighter.
