West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

With his hand so protectively shielding those bruises from the wickedness of his vampire mistress, a small snarl peeled from his lips at that sheer pain that so resonated throughout his figure at her touch. Her very words so echoed within his thoughts, the painful reminder that his body would so effortlessly give into her against his own whims. How eager she ways to play him like a marionette doll, plucking at those strings of pain with the promise that, one day, his mind too would give in. How that impending day so terrified him! He watched her as she moved from his wounded figure, shifting towards the very center of that hellish room only to call with one wayward finger the vampire settled beside the door. The very lackie had gone unnoticed by the Alpha, up to this point and yet that singular gesture sent him skittering outside, only to return in mere moments with the unmoving figure that so prompted an immediate reaction from the Alpha. Tobias. Oh, those promises he'd made to the boy near days ago! How he'd swore he'd do everything within his power to ensure the spotted feline never again saw those halls! How close Tobias had come to losing himself to that feralness Risque seemed to prompt within him, and how much Tetradore abhorred to watch that very pain beset his closest companion. With the simple sight of that still form, Tetradore found himself near effortlessly giving in. That defiance all but ripped away from him as his friend was discarded in a heap upon the very center of the floor.

For a moment, Tetradore feared the worst, the very figure of the feline seemingly unmoving and yet, the more his emerald eyes focused upon that spotted frame, the more he noted the very faint rise and fall of Tobias' chest. The very presence of that thread between himself and his Beta was the only reassurance he needed. It was, perhaps, anticipated, the way the boy's mere presence prompted such visible dismay within him. Tobias had always been his greatest weakness. There were moments, such as this, when he almost wished his closest companion had never found him - if only for the very sanctuary that his absence from Tobias life provided the man. His hand fell away from his side, as if some vain hope that the very sight of his mismatched skin might further prove a distraction. Oh, how he would have so eagerly offered Risque the entirety of his body if only to spare Tobias! That begging upon his lips surely showed his own desperation as he uttered his mistress' name, near begging her for the release of Tobias whilst offering himself in that singular moment. He watched as she placed her hand upon her hip, that sickening sweet simper so spelling his fate even before her painted lips parted with a rather simple denial. Those very words prompted him to silence, the Alpha was almost uncertain of what he could do to save his closest companion.

Tetradore swallowed as that saccharine sweet voice so insisted that this was his own doing - this was his fault. If he had merely stayed awake they could have returned far before Risque had noticed. If he hadn't said 'yes', they wouldn't be here now. That frown pulled at the very corner of his lips as the once stoic Were's emerald eyes softened. If only he had been stronger, Tobias would have been fine, he wouldn't be here now on that very brink of death and yet, Tetradore would undoubtedly do everything to ensure he pulled the spotted leopard alive from this very room. In a small glimpse of his anxiety, his tongue ran over his bottom lip, his gaze briefly shifted towards Risque at the sound of that small hum of amusement upon her lips. That very promise of so severing those attachments himself, however, prompted a fresh wave of that reckless defiance within him, the very likes of the sort have all but wavered but moments ago. Her insistence to fetch Tobias' tail caused his hands to clench in fists and yet, the Were-King merely stood his ground, his jaw set firmly in clear insubordination as he uttered one single syllable. No. No - he would not dismember and dismantle his best friend. He would not rip apart the feline's body in the way he'd seen those hallucinations do time and time ago. No - he would rebel with every fiber of his being regardless of the consequences that it brought to him. Tobias was one of the few beings in his life that he was so willingly die for, the boy's faith in him insurmountable and in return, Tetradore would do everything to earn that very loyalty.

Slowly, Risque repeated that very word and yet, it was the simple placidity within her lyrics that worried the Alpha the most. His gaze fluttered towards her as she moved with liquid grace - the sensual being she so was hardly seemed to dissipate in the slightest as she positioned herself between Tobias and himself. His lips pressed in a hard line and yet, Tetradore repeated himself with perfect enunciation. "No." He watched that simper that crept across her features as she informed him that he had little choice in the matter. He had, naturally, hardly forgotten that very control she had over him and yet, when he was younger he had fought with such persistence at times that there were mere moments when his will and her affinity were locked in a battle that resulted in no movement of his frame at all. She had always won out in the end, in the past, and yet, this time, he had far more to fight for than his desire to simply be himself. Tetradore hardly seemed dissuaded even despite her lecture, the man simply remaining unmoving as his emerald eyes near glared at her. Again and again they might do this, over and over like a vicious cycle and still, Tetradore refused to bring harm to him. His very stillness, it seemed, spoke volumes as she repeated that singular word a second time, that French lit all the more blatant.

For a moment, Tetradore's gaze shifted back towards the fallen form of his childhood friend. The very idea of murdering the man so greatly repulsed him, the Alpha almost cringing at the idea before that word fell from his lips all over again. "No....I won't kill him." In this, Tetradore was nothing but firm, then man utterly steadfast, his own masculine form unmoving as if fearing Risque's affinity should he get too close to his companion's frame. The last thing Tetradore had expected, however, was for her melodic words to turn towards Tobias himself. His eyes widened, that simple declaration alone enough to prompt the man to move with decided quickness even despite what had been his own resoluteness. It was hardly fast enough though, not to beat the onslaught of Risque's affinity. The very weight of it seemed to collide into the leopard, the feline's jaws parting, "No!" That word so quickly left his lips as Tetradore all but slid to his knees at Tobias' side, just as the cat bit down upon his own tongue. That horrible cry echoed within his ears as he so fearlessly reached for the leopard's jaws, prying them apart in some vain effort to stop the leopard from completing that task giving to him. The very scent of blood so filled the air and yet, it was her very voice that drew Tetradore's gaze upwards towards Risque. "Yes." He uttered in response with a soft growl upon his lips, all the while doing everything he can to hold Tobias tongue back where it should be, till the were's natural healing capability could mend it before it was entirely removed.
