West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

The lupine couldn't blame the snow leopard for feeling a bit uneasy when it came to the green-eyed panther. He was a very gruffly, solemn individual. Her first year within his pack she wasn't sure if he truly approved her or not. After all it wasn't like he sought her out and asked her to join his pack. She was the one asking him if she could. He could have said no, but he didn't. At that time she and her now husband were seeing one another. In her mind the Alpha of the Nightshade pack only took her in, because his best friend would be happy. The two men were like brothers, each of them willing to do what they can to please the other. For a very long time Raven felt a bit uncertain in her place when it came to Tetradore. Fortunately, their relationship got better, and Raven wasn't concerned about where she stood with him. They were family now, he was like an older brother to her, and she was beyond grateful to have a brother like him. Carolina would one day develop her own relationship with Tetradore, and when she did, she would think herself silly for being so concerned about his dislike of her in the first place. A small simper appeared when the young woman challenged her, without missing a beat she responded quite coolly.

"And when he does you just look up, smile at him, and say hello."

Raven didn't think she made a bad choice when it came to giving the snow leopard a chance to be here with them in the Ark. She was doing a very good job in her eyes. It was important that Carolina continue to perform perfectly. Raven was the one that stuck her neck out for her. If there ever came a time when she would have to stick her neck out again for another individual, she wanted to make sure Tetradore trusted her decision. Sometimes everyone needed a second chance and the curly-haired woman was willing to give that individual something they probably never received from anyone else, faith. Shrugging her shoulders Raven attempted to soothe the girl's worry.

"You'll get there, it just takes time."

She herself was an example of such a thing. Leaning up against the railing her eyes scanned the area below. It seemed that everything they needed was now up on the deck already settled in place. There were just the drinks they needed to grab. It was the final touch before they can start opening up the place and letting their patrons arrive on the deck. This would be a trial run and Raven hoped it would be successful. They didn't have any competition from another business that ran a similar event like theirs, and she didn't want to give anyone a chance to do such a thing. Competition meant they would lose money, and that was simply something that couldn't be done. Answering her question she nodded slowly the woman hoping this venture would not be for a loss.

"I'm actually curious how this is all going to work out really. If it is successful that means we're going to get more business, which means more money for everyone."

Money made the world go round. And the lupine knew that to help keep their staff happy and performing well they would need to be rewarded with money. During a business meeting when she voiced out her thought in doing something like this she was pleased to hear they all seemed eager to try. Raven was happy that they would be able to see new fighters go after one another. Fighting on land was one thing, but fighting in the water well...that was something exceptionally unique. Best part of the fighting wasn't because of the money, but because she and her mate wouldn't have to participate in it...they could have a break. Lifting her hand upwards Raven lifted a box full of an assortment of liquor bottles, as she made the box fly over to her she gestured with her other hand to Carolina a box that was meant for her to carry.

"Over there on the lower shelf to the left is a box of liquor you can grab. Come on up so I can lock the door behind us. While we're up here, I don't want anyone snooping around."

As the box of liquor started to make its way over to her she allowed the box to settle at her side floating easily without a single bottle dropping. Now she could have easily carried the other box to her as well, but Carolina was already down there and she was capable of picking it up. As Carolina made her way up she waited patiently, voicing out another question.

"I never got to ask you, why did you come back here for work? There are other places you could have gone to."
