West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

You know for a person taking his first ride on a roller coaster you'd think he'd be a bit more excited. I remember when I was a little girl I was elated and absolutely terrified! Mom sat with me when I my first ride. She told me the same things that I was telling Tetradore, providing instructions that I've pretty much followed every time I went on a new ride. Never close your eyes on the ride and keep your arms held up, don't cling to the bar. I doubt Tetradore was afraid to be on the ride. He just seems so....passive, about everything. Maybe that's just the way he is. Mom always said to just let people be themselves. I guess I could do that. Still though, I should continue to put in a good effort. This was supposed to be a fun time for both of us! We're not working, and we're doing something different than what we would normally do. After going down that first ride while climbing up I notice the small simper he gives me and I can't help, but grin back at him. Well, at least he tried. Hell, at least I tried! While heading away from the ride and down the ramp to look at the photos, I shrug and reply to his inquiry.

"Unfortunately most roller coaster rides last for a minute or two. We can repeat the rides though, if there is one you really like."

That particular ride wasn't too bad for a beginner. I mean it was simple, and it went fast. Wooden coasters were vastly different from those metal ones. Maybe when went get to the metal roller coasters he'll enjoy them a little bit more. Honestly whichever ride he really enjoyed and wanted to go again I wouldn't mind doing that with him. Today was meant to be a vacation for me and in a way, it could be a vacation for him too! And I would say spending most of our morning and afternoon on the rides helped us out. He seemed a bit happier when we were on the northern side of the park where the more modern rides were. Every now and then I'd catch a smile on his face, which made me happy all the same. Now he's letting loose, even if it is for a little bit! But riding all the rides can make anyone hungry. So, while I send Tetradore off to get whatever sort of meal he wants I busy myself with finding the sweet, delicious treat, funnel cakes! Finding exactly what I was looking for I grab two plates full of this stuff, and two cups of ice cold water, because I think we deserve a drink. He's a guy and an Alpha, I'm pretty sure he'd eat the entire thing. I'm not really supposed to have all this sugar food to myself, and yet, no one is here to chastise me! Sitting at the table I wait for him to come by. Once he sits at the table I look at the food on his plate, it smells pretty good!

"Yea, alligator is pretty good, although most would say it tastes like chicken. If you eat it slowly you might notice it's kinda firm like pork, but you get that fishy or chicken taste. And, you can actually fry a lot of different kinds of foods. There are some fairs where you can have fried ice cream, fried coffee, fried smore's, it's quite interesting."

Gently I push one of the plates with the funnel cake for him to try. Shifting my own plate in front of me, I happily dig into my funnel cake. Ah the sugar! This is absolutely delicious. Grabbing a cup of water I take a sip as I watch him try the alligator bites and the funnel cake. Hopefully he likes it. I really shouldn't have to ask if he likes it or not, because I am quite assured that the answer is a yes! Wiping some of the powdered sugar off my fingers with a napkin, I look over to his direction.

"All that's left to do now are the water-themed roller coasters where you can get a little bit wet to cool off, and fun carnival games that look simple and yet not everyone is a winner. We don't have to do both, but if you did the carnival games, you could bring home a stuffed toy for your spotted friend."
