West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

A part of her wondered if she should be asking more questions, wondering about the shady stuff her pack was into but mostly, she was just glad to finally feel a part of something. Her former pack used her for her powers of stealth but they didn't truly care about her. Here, she had friends and she could feel the difference. She didn't feel used. She felt involved and it was a good feeling. Tetradore explained that the crate they were looking for was unmarked. She could understand why they would do that if they knew others were looking for whatever was inside the crate. It would just mean they'd have to be fast and thorough. When the phone came into the picture, Alexis was hesitant to let on that she had no idea what to do with it.

She'd never had a phone before. She'd seen Alexander and the girls at the cafe use them from time to time but she'd never understood them enough to ask about it. She saw Alexander pretty regularly at the cafe so there'd never been a chance for him to ask for her number or anything like that. She hated to think that she might disappoint Tetradore by telling him she didn't know how to do this, though. She waited for his scowl of disapproval, but it never came. Instead, he shrugged and took the phone back, before explaining that he didn't have one till he was older. She wondered how much older but held her tongue, since it didn't really matter right now.

As he shifted to show her what he was doing, she looked down at his hands, concentrating as he told her about the power button and how to turn the phone on and off. She nodded vigorously, never taking her gaze off his fingers in case she missed something. When he swiped his finger for the camera, she gasped a little, surprised that the screen could pick up on movements like that. Buttons was one thing. Swiping a screen seemed totally unrealistic. She really had no idea about technology. Then he showed her how to tap another button to take a picture. As he handed the phone back to her, she bit her bottom lip in concentration as she went through the motions of turning the phone on and off before she even attempted swiping to take a picture.

It took her a couple times but finally she got the motions down, her face lighting up the first time she successfully took a picture. Tetradore would probably have a lot of photos of her legs and the interior of his car by the end of this. She wanted to make sure she did everything absolutely right so she didn't let him down. Finally she looked up and nodded her head. "I think I got it." She waited for his go ahead before slipping out of the car and shifting into her fox form. She held the phone lightly in her mouth as she snuck into the warehouse, her smaller size making it easier to slip in the shadows of the walls and crates. She found a good hidden spot between some crates and shifted back, glad that she'd finally figured out how to shift with clothes on.

Then she took a picture of the spot she was in and once she was satisfied she did it right, she shifted back and hurried out of the warehouse and back to the car. "Here." She handed him the phone, biting her bottom lip again and hoping she did it right.
