West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Syn

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Her fingers massaging his neck manage to very near bring the boy to his knees, head almost in her lap as he positively purrs with contentment, every muscle releasing its tense hold as he sighs. His neck, evidently, an area in which he thoroughly enjoys being touched. The calm hold her touch seems to have over him however is given to end in the moments her fingers pause in their application of the medicine she has liberally applied to his neck beneath his collar. It is fortunate perhaps, that his attention is readily attracted by the scissors, followed only moments later by his sudden desire to make something for her. It is rare indeed that the boy is given to express any desire to offer anything to another, the young man holding an intense disliking of sharing and yet so much of this has come from his childhood. So many of his things had been lost or taken from him, those few things he had managed to hold, those few meagre possessions- taken from him by Risqué and as such he is often given to cling, dangerously so, to that which he believes to be his own, offers of...generosity a truly rare thing as the food he offers in this moment, grinning rather proudly as he places his meal and tea before her. How he has managed to achieve even this without disaster is perhaps a surprising thing and yet clearly this feat, small as it is, is a truly pleasing thing to the boy.

It is fortunate perhaps that she is given to hide her...disdain in this moment, the pleasing notes in her voice and grin upon her features assuring him she is accepting of his gift in this regards. The boy does, after all, hold some sense of.....need for approval, so very much like a child he still desires the acceptance of those around him, seeking to please them still. Her words however, see his head tilt slightly, black ears pricked forward in some symbol of curiosity as she snatches up his mug of tea and moves towards the clawed bench. He moves to shift automatically away from her in the moments in which she turns on the faucet, the rush of water readily seeing the creature look towards it with disdain as she fills the kettle and places it upon the stove, features contorting into a look of ready disbelief at his process, as if he truly has no faith within her ability to create tea with water. Her use of fire however, rapidly draws his attention, eyes drawn wide in awe at this flickering frame, readily drawn to the heat and colour, fingers already reaching for it before she commands him not to. For a moment he near considers defying her order, attention quickly distracted however the moment it begins to whistle, a clear of shock touching his face in this moment, tail puffing up slightly at this unique sound, entirely unsure as to whether it should be hissed at- or slapped.

It is fortunate perhaps, the Birdie is given to snatch it from it's place, moving to pour the water into each mug, the sweet scent of the tea released into a heady aroma mere moments later as he leans slightly forward once more with intrigue, that womans words clearly heard as his ears flicked and turned with each syllable- though her query as to whether or not he would like to try is met with a clear glare.

"No!"

Why he answers so sharply can hardly be known, the use of the water perhaps seeing the boy finding ready dislike for this entire process as he eyes the tea placed beside his chair warily. He returns to his place only as Birdie moves to do so, taking his seat once more before cautiously peering into his mug, eyeing the brown liquid- intrigued entirely by the smell and yet....that it is a liquid has proven to be off-putting, at least, until a sudden grin ensnares his features, dark eyes lifted suddenly to the other woman's.

"Oh...Birdie has...captured the water! It is stuck."

That the woman has, by some clear miracle, managed to ensnare the water within the mug is a clearly delightfully process, the man moving to gingerly lift the mug upward, marvelling indeed at the waters inability to splash at him before returning it to the table with evident delight.
"Birdie is....very clever...to capture the water."

Evidently the making if tea is still entirely lost to him, to woman merely having tamed water into a cup. He has seen cups before of course, seen them used and yet never has he seen this capture truly performed, an evident miracle to his mind as he contentedly proceeds to eye his mug with clear victory- attention returned to the curly haired woman as she moves to try the food he has made her, grinning once more at her clear enjoyment of his dish.

"I am very good....at making food. Naddy taught me....about.....the butter."

She would be very impressed with how he had learned, he is sure, the boy determined to make such a dish for his pack mate the next time they were alone. The woman's final words however see him scowl slightly once more at her suggestion of removing his collar.

"If I...lose it I...will be...in trouble."

He simply assures her of this, moving to stand once more, long tail flicking behind him. He has been gone from Syn for some time now, the vampire woman sure to notice soon enough and indeed he dislikes to be away from Tetra more than is needed.

"I have to...go....back now."

He hardly desires to and yet fear of retribution has clearly forced some form of obedience into the boy, his need to leave, perhaps, saving the woman from having to consume an entire buttered onion.
