West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The Were-King cared strikingly little of the attempted theft that had occurred within the walls of the metal cargo ship all those years ago. Whatever trinket Frost had hired her to take paled in comparison to all the ivory steed had already stolen. Tetradore had long come to terms with the opposing Alpha, any animosity the pair had often held its origin in the women that surrounded them than with each other. Even so, it hardly ceased that curiosity that had blossomed within him. It was unfortunate, truly, that she had could shed little light on the mystery and yet, he was hardly perturbed by it. Quite the opposite, Tetradore was quick to continue the forward momentum of the conversation, one that might ultimately bring him to his true goal. He was, admittedly, surprised with the very speed at which Carolina assured him that she had little interest in so much as seeing the stallion again. He had anticipated she might hold some level of loyalty to Frost still, as her client if nothing else. To find her so vehemently against the man had caught him off guard. He knew, of course, of his fellow Alpha's polarizing nature but...it sounded as if Carolina had not experienced the same ill fate as Raven or Alexis. How...intriguing. The vibrancy of his emerald irises seemed to linger upon her in an almost contemplative fashion, the man considering, not for the first time, his long term intentions with the snow leopard he found beneath his roof.

Tetradore leaned back in his seat, his gaze turned upwards to the rafters overhead as he considered all he knew of the young woman and her dynamics with his own carefully guarded pack. He was aware, vaguely, as she leaned against the counter to once again nibble upon the cookie he'd provided her. For a moment, that silence seemed to persist between them before Tetradore abruptly asked after her long term intentions. The weight of his gaze turned back towards Carolina as the girl seemed to consider the inquiry. That soft sigh upon her lips, however, prompted Tetradore to clarify exactly what he was asking after. The very last thing he desired, after all, was to bring into the fold another flighty absent creature like Regan. Their pack was...uniquely close-knit, the group tended to feel the absence of one of their ranks and he had little desire to see any of the emotionally distraught again should Carolina find her place amongst them only to abandon them on a passing whim. He watched as astonishment spread across her features, that offer one that she clearly never anticipated to be offered to herself. Although it was no secret Tetradore had been...ill inclined to offer her a job at the bar thanks to the manner she'd brazenly brushed him off, he was more than willing to forgive and move on when it was proven worth his time. Raven clearly liked the girl, Mira hadn't spoken a bad word of her, and his patrons clearly enjoyed their time under her care. She had proven over and over again that she was capable of joining their mismatch crew, even if Tetradore had hardly uttered a syllable of all he had observed.

The Alpha remained still as Carolina seemed to gather her thoughts, her answers offered in a slow, almost weary manner as she assured him she had every intention of staying within the city. Her desire to continue working at the Ark was, perhaps, not entirely surprising. After all, she seemed to enjoy the job and, more importantly, she was good at it. It was the very mention of the pack, however, that seemed to set her on edge as the woman admitted she'd never before belonged to any such group. The very notion that she might have to answer to anyone beyond herself seemed to be a point of contention, though such was hardly unusual amongst their species in particular. Cats, lions aside, tended to be independent aloof creatures. Tetradore himself was no exception.

Easily, Tetradore met the blue-green hue of her gaze before his shoulders rose in a slight shrug. How easily the Were-King could rock her world, and yet, for all the changes pack life brought, it too came with its fair share of blessings. "A lot, I imagine." Tetradore offered. The man took his own time before laying out with blatant transparency all the strings attached to his proposal. "You would be expected to join us on full moons, you might occasionally be asked to join Raven or Alexis in making sure no other packs are pushing in on our territory, you may choose to live within the Ark if you desire but you will be expected to at least live in the West. You won't get a salary anymore but I will take care of all of your living expenses and you'll be given a monthly stipend to spend as you see fit. You'll be given protection but, in return, you will look after your pack mates too, should they ever need you. Otherwise, we're a family, Carolina. We do typical...family things. Holidays. Family dinners. That sort of thing." Another shrug crossed Tetradore's shoulders before the man continued to provide her with a final 'out' of sorts, "You can leave the pack whenever you like, you just have to let me know, and you can continue to work here regardless of if you accept or not."
