West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Dorian could so hardly help that fluttering of nervousness within his chest at the sheer ...displeasure Aiden seeme to take from the notion of his birthday altogether. Perhaps Matteo had been wrong on this. Perhaps, this time, it had not been right to try to push Aiden to that celebration he was quote certain his brother did not desire to have. Aiden hardly looked even the least bit pleased. Dorian, in that wake of that very look, so suddenly finding himself hesitant to present his sibling with the card her had worked on so diligently for those past few days in some effort to make Aiden feel better. Even if Dorian so hardly knew just what had caused Aiden's distress and solitude to begin with. It was Matteo's simple insistence however that seemed to see the eyes of his family fall upon him. Dorian, in that manner he had become accustomed, so quickly rose to that moment. A ready, warm simper found his lips despite his own reservations and fears that such a card and celebration might somehow upset Aiden further. The Monarch strode that short distance forward to present his sibling with that beautifully decorated card. Dorian too- offered that explanation of just what that glorious design displayed. For several long moments Aiden simply remained silent as he stared at that card. Dorian inclined to feel as if his sibling were considering whether that card was truly good enough to be accepted! How terribly much he hoped Aiden liked it. Dorian was, in that moment, oblivious to his godfather behind him in the near stern look Aiden was afforded. The weight of Alexander's gaze so prompting the WereKing to offer that word of thanks. Dorian near inclined to think the word sounded more akin to a question as if his brother was almost unsure whether or not 'thank you' was the right word at all. Did that...mean he liked it?

Aiden, Dorian had decided, was an impossible creature. The Monarch assured he had never been more uncertain of another beings emotions and yet, in the very least, his sibling hardly acted as if he hated that card. Dorian, for now, wholly willing to accept even that small victory. The both of them surely saved from that almost awkward interaction by Sebastian's own interjection with that bottle of terribly fine whiskey. Dorian shifted but slightly to stand beside Sebastian once more as Aiden carefully unwrapped that bottle. Matteo offering an explanation upon his gift as he did. The Frenchman so making it appear as if that whiskey was Aiden's true present and that they had flown about half the world to achieve it! Aiden seemed near equally as baffled by that bottle as he had his card. The Were was silent for several more long moments before managing to utter a single insecure syllable- as if he so hardly knew just how he was supposed to react at all. Really, Matteo had been right, Aiden was.....rather.....unique when it came to expressing himself. If only by the notion he seemed to struggle with it entirely. Matteo, perhaps mercifully, took that opportunity to step forward and press those keys into his siblings hand- taking that wrapping paper as he did. A singular nod from his Father toward that warehouse door readily saw Sebastian step forward to open it, his husbands vampiric strength making short work of that very door.

How glorious that car looked nestled within that darkness and so illuminated by a singular light! How perfect. How very menacing. Dorian assured it was by far one of the loveliest cars in all the world. His own silver gaze shifted sideways and toward Aiden. His brother seeming to have taken to ...staring at that vehicle. His features once more near unreadable until at last his lips seemed to part in the faintest glimpse of awe. Aiden, slowly, stepped forward toward the car after several more long moments of merely looking at it with some measure of disbelief. His sibling proceeded to circle it then, his fingers running over that sleek body in much the same as Dorian's own had been given to do the first time he had seen it. Aiden, he was sure, would know far more about that car then anyone else present. The Panther sure to appreciate it more than any of them were capable. Dorian so finding himself excited for both the car itself and his brother whom would surely adore driving it. Perhaps, if he asked, Aiden might even invite him along to ride with him as they had done in Italy. The Fae King perhaps unwilling to admit just how terribly he desired to at least sit within that car. For now, however, Dorian so remained with the others within the doorway of the warehouse. This, after all, was Aiden's moment alone.

Whatever his brother seemed to be searching for upon that car was evidently discovered upon the back of it. Aiden lingered there for several moments before wandering back to the front of the car. Dorian, once more, finding a faint fluttering of nervousness had taken up residence within his chest. That whole family seeming to wait with near baited breath before, at last, Aiden managed those quiet words of near disbelief. Dorian, for the first time, so seeming to realise how very overwhelmed his sibling was in that moment! Aiden's words, in the least, prompting that collective relaxation within the familial group at large. It was Matteo who stepped forward then, his Father resting a hand upon Aiden's shoulder before offering those gentle words he had offered earlier and yet, now, seemed to hold far more meaning. Matteo reached then to take that bottle and card and attempt to provide the overwhelmed Were with some measure of direction, Dorian unable to prevent that soft chuckle of amusement that rose within his throat at Aiden's clear speechlessness. Matteo's efforts to suggest Aiden not drive to fast were met with an abrupt snort by Alexander. His grandfather had taken to leaning in the doorway of that warehouse, the Hunter insisting he was almost certain Aiden would not listen before quietly suggesting they give him those ownership papers as the cafe. Dorian moved to shift forward and from beside Sebastian then to wander toward Aiden and his car, the Monarch halted only by Alexander's suggestion that Sebastian could ride with Matteo and himself. Dorian so afforded his Father a near pointed look in that moment. One he was sure Matteo was pretending not to see. Sebastian, after all, so often found himself distinctly...uncomfortable in Matteo's presence. Alexander, in the least, would surely allow no nonsense, right? Dorian quite unwilling to have his husband upset on such a splendid occasion. His gaze shifted to Alexander then.

"Grandfather? Will you keep an eye on my Father, please?"

It was rare, in every sense, for Dorian to use those familial titles rather than Alexander and Matteo's names and yet such things so often seemed to catch their attention entirely. DOrian assured he need not explain further by what such a thing meant. The Monarch so expecting his husband be returned to him in the mentally stable condition in which he was leaving. Dorians returned to his sibling then as he came to stand beside that wonderful car, that grin upon his features hardly wavering as he admired that sleek surface all over again.

"Aiden? Can I sit with you in it? I've not had the chance yet and I should love to see inside it with you."
