West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The deafening roar from the fighting ring echoed in her ears as she waited in the healing ward, her back leaned against the wall as she turned the page of the book in her hands. Though she'd never been that much into history, the tales of Alexander the Great had become of great interest to her. Raven had gotten her onto the book and though it had been slow to get into, Alexis found herself enthralled soon enough and couldn't seem to put the book down now. It was a huge book though so she had a long ways yet to go. She hadn't even made it a quarter through the book so far. When she heard another uproar of applause, the Were-Fox knew that was her cue that the fight was over and her turn had come. With a soft sigh, she closed the book and turned to see where Harley went. She didn't really know anything about the girl with purple eyes save her name and only cause Tetradore introduced her when Alexis found out they were going to be working together tonight.

The woman seemed bitter and resentful, the feel that she didn't really want to be here coming off her in waves. Alexis gave her space most of the time, figuring it wouldn't do any good to try to make conversation. Besides, the few times she'd tried didn't amount to much so she gave up. When she made out Harley's figure going toward the ring, she followed in her wake, her nose wrinkling when she caught the scent of fresh blood. A soft gasp left her lips when she saw the wounds on the Akapi, her gaze finding Tobias though something told her the Were-Leopard wouldn't look anywhere close to the injuries the other man sported. Looking all too pleased with himself, Tobias was putting on clothes. Alexis snorted and shook her head before hurrying more toward the ring to help his opponent. Harley got there first but when she heaved the man over the ropes so that he landed in a slump at Alexis' feet, she scowled up at Harley, her eyes narrowing.

"So much for compassion." She muttered, all too aware that Harley could hear her as she reached down to run her hands gently over the man's injuries. She soon felt the power vibrating in her hands as a glow started to erupt over the man's body. Within minutes, his wounds started to close and he was left with drying blood on his skin but no sources for them to come from. Satisfied with her work, Alexis smiled and her head snapped up only when the Boom echoed through the Ark right as Harley landed beside them after jumping from the ring. Raising a brow at Harley, Alexis turned back to the startled Were who'd just sat up in alarm. She reassured him before helping him to his feet. As the crowd started to move toward the door, Alexis looked around for the rest of the pack, wondering what the next step should be. Tetradore looked concerned and Tobias....well, he looked wet.

Confused, Alexis scowled and moved toward the ring, finding Raven in the crowd. "Are you okay?" She asked her best friend as they walked up on the steps by the fighting ring. Soon enough, Tobias joined them and Alexis felt the pull of his teleportation power. She gave into it and found herself in his and Raven's room. Looking around, she scowled in puzzlement, until Tobias said that they needed to pack. She nodded in agreement. That makes sense. What didn't make sense was him handing her a sock of all things and telling her those were the important things. She scowled and held the sock up with a wrinkled nose. "This better not be used." Luckily, Raven stepped in to tell him there was more packing to do and Alexis smiled at her in gratitude, happily tossing the sock onto the bed before catching the red duffle bag out of the air that Raven moved to her with her power of telekinesis. "Thanks. I'll be right back." She assured them before moving down the hall to her own room.

She didn't have much to pack but the floor shifted beneath her feet, making it harder to balance. She grabbed her most recent books, some of her clothes, and some sentimental things, gifts from Alexander and such, before re-joining Raven and Tobias. Figuring they would teleport back to Tetradore and the others, she listened as Raven asked her mate if he could teleport them to the dock. Her gaze turned to the Were-Leopard, wondering what his answer would be. The fighting ring might already be underwater for all they know and surely he didn't want to get wet again.
