West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

I suppose I might be willing to take that as a compliment, being good for something is a significant improvement on being good for nothing and yet really I'm inclined to believe I have rather a number of uses. Maybe they are not specifically tailored towards physical assault or gun shooting or whatever it is Kat seems to spend her time doing but they can be just as...pleasurable. I smirked lightly at my own amusement, attempting to keep the cat-creatures attention with my car keys before I...well, I suppose I stumbled, or would have, if my feet had been able to actually touch the ground, momentary confusion crossing my features as I apparently seemed to gain the ability to fly. For half a minute or so I actually had the belief that I'd managed to discover some sort of new ability and yet a complete lack of control in regards to my trajectory (yes I know some big words) quickly assured me that this was an unpiloted flight. I at least had the sense to put my car keys away mid ascension before frantically trying to grasp onto anything within reach. Maybe it wasn't my most manly moment but I've always felt muscular heroes were overrated anyway. I'm not quite sure what it was I managed to grab, some no-doubt highly contaminated roof guttering in an attempt to stop myself travelling god knows how high, clinging to the steel with far more determination then I think I have ever clung before.

"Kat! Kat!"

I wasn't actually sure what I expected her to do, just as I wasn't exactly sure as to how I managed to actually turn on my power. I know it's there, I know how to turn it on for the most part and yet controlling it hasn't exactly proved to be my strong point yet. I suppose I should try a little more and yet practicing it isn't exactly the easiest thing to do, hell, it's not like I need it to attract women and yet I have little desire to flaunt such a talent when Kat is around...even if I'm not entirely sure why. I suppose I like her attention, some part of me likes having her to myself, that same part that sees me near totally ignore anything else female when Kat is around and even when she isn't...well, I still have a few basic needs I'm willing to allow a woman or too to meet and yet luring them with my power feels almost like...cheating and that really just isn't my style. Probably the reason why, in my momentary panic at my newly airborne state, I accidently hit the cat...thing. Maybe it is my neat little trick as Kat calls it and yet in the moments in which it backfires I'm rather inclined to try and remove it entirely. I never could climb that ladder in gym class, probably the reason why the kick I aimed at the man now running his hands up my legs missed entirely, shouting for Kat's attention once more as she attempted to reason with the curly-haired wolf.

This isn't exactly the first time I've managed to attract a mans attention, even without my power I had once suffered a rather unique incident on board a yacht near the Greek Islands that has seen me attempt my very first overboard manoeuvre. This however, was by far the furthest any man had ever gotten and truthfully, had I been able to let go off the roof top I would have been half tempted to actually attempt to punch him- even at the risk of fracturing my hand on his face. I managed another kick-like attempt, shouting again for Kat to do something, my distraction having worked far better then I'd anticipated as I struggled to pull my own power back, searching for something...anything to grasp and stop the other man from putting his hands any higher. I always was intelligent, though whether that was a blessing or a curse I hardly know, my mind content to move faster then the vast majority of peoples, thoughts racing in every direction and truly, sometimes....it drives me mad, presses me to the very limits of that control I enjoy so much and yet at other times, I suppose, it has it's uses, my features frowning ever so slightly as the first glimmer of an idea seemed to find it's way into the haze of a mind near totally preoccupied with wondering if this somehow made me some form of bisexual. Maybe it's better that I don't ask myself these questions.

God this bastard was heavy. I suppose the wolf girl was taking some of the weight with her magic and yet the majority of it seemed to be being held up by my fingers on the guttering, blue gold eyes momentarily widening at the distance below before my gaze wandered towards the wall of the building. Well....it could work. How I actually managed to even swing myself is probably highly debatable, then again it's not exactly the first time I've used swinging...although maybe that's not a story for now. It took just about every bit of energy I had to swung my body, twisting at the last moment in an attempt to slam the Were into the wall instead of myself, swinging again for a second time with much the same tactic, one way or another I was sadly going to had to rid myself of my new found...friend- the yelp he gave when he collided with the brick at least letting me know it damn well hurt him, his grip loosening ever so slightly as I tried again to pull that power away from him, swinging my body a third time to slam him again into the wall. Maybe I won't ever be a truly proficient hunter- but at least I'm imaginative. Either the girl was going to bring us both down or I was going to have to keep trying to slam the fellow into a wall....
