West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It was both amusing and a little heartbreaking to see the literal pain in his eyes when we talked about clothes and hair dying. I knew this whole "living on a budget" thing was going to be hardest on him most of all. After all, I was already used to it, but he wasn't. I wish I could tell him he could walk away any time but that wasn't true anymore. First, I was pretty sure he wouldn't allow it and two, Viktor would still be targeting him now just to get to me so it was a null point. We were stuck like this until Viktor was dead, so that had to be the next plan, as incredibly impossible as that sounded. Of course, it was going to be entertaining daily to see what new shirts I could throw at Kohl and watch his reaction. It was almost as entertaining as his face when he saw me trying out the hair dye in the bathroom mirror. When I turned to remind him of the importance of being prepared for Viktor, he ran a hand through his hair before asking what we were going to do. I couldn't help the smirk that tugged at my lips.

"We're going to kill him, silly." I said as matter of factually as I could. "He's not going to stop coming for us until either we're dead or he is. Therefore, the only way to make it out of this alive is to make sure he doesn't." It made sense to me but would it to him? I didn't see any other options, either way. Of course, leave it to Kohl to bring the conversation back around to my lady parts. When he asked about me dying the lower regions, I couldn't help but roll my eyes before asking if he planned on me being naked as part of our plan. He made a joke about me dazzling them with my body and I scoffed lightly. "I doubt that would work on Viktor. Pretty sure he hasn't been laid in at least 3 decades. Probably forgot what a woman looks like under her clothes by now." I couldn't recall ever seeing a woman with him even when I was living and training with him all those years ago. Not even a visitor at night. He always seemed too consumed by his own business and training.

It was obvious Kohl wasn't impressed by the microwave dinner I decided to make for us tonight. I slid the fork through the mashed potatoes and held it out to him, watching with a quirked brow as he stuck his tongue out to test the waters. Watching as he chewed the minuscule bite he managed to get in his mouth, I waited for his reaction. He didn't seem completely grossed out, but I knew it wasn't going to be some five star experience like what he was used to. When he asked how much he needed to eat, I couldn't help the small smirk that tugged at my lips. "Don't tell me you plan to go to bed hungry. I know you like to eat." Why yes, that was an innuendo.
