West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Once the bell sounded, nothing outside of the ring mattered. The memory of the war not that long ago wavered in the back of his mind. Taking on one opponent was certainly far easier than watching out for all sides of him and helping others stay alive on top of it. After a few minutes where both were blossoming bruises and slivers of blood, the signal to switch to Were was given. The switch to his feline form was swift and easy from being a born Were. His opponent turned out to be a fellow carnivore, an alligator, which was interesting to say the least. The other's quick death rolls, strong tail, and thick back hide made it difficult to penetrate with claws. If the pair had been in the water then the alligator would have surely won but, even with Leo's large size, being on land gave him the upper hand. The large striped feline created a quick blinding flash of light much like a flash bomb and used the brief disorientation to leap up and over the reptile to land directly onto it's back. Leo's claws extended and his jaws parted to come crashing down at the thinner scales of the alligator neck. At that point the alligator was worn from the fight, taking more energy to move on land than water, and couldn't fully throw Leo from it. 3...2...1 and the winner was declared.

Leo hurriedly released his opponent at the blaring sound of the bell and the declaration of him winning. Quickly he shifted back to his human form though lingered a moment to ensure his opponent got up. From the looks of the other guy he didn't seem like he would take very kindly to Leo offering his help even if he needed it. Oh well. Leo gave a mental shrug before heading out of the ring. He was barely out of the cage, reaching for the wet rag provided to wipe some of the blood from him when he noted the less boisterous surroundings and turned around...only to be face to face with a rather irritated looking man demanding who he was. One good look at him and Leo knew, "You look like her- I mean, you're a guy of course- but the face- and she does that arm thing too- you're sister- our sister..." When Leo managed to finally stop rattling on, he offered a lop-sided smile, nervously scratching the back of his neck before offering his hand to shake though he didn't expect the Alpha to take it, "Leo Hawkins. I'm from the family on the other side of the mountains that adopted Nadya."

"Cool place you got here." Leo commented as he shrugged his shirt on despite the blood that still lingered on his chest. "I couldn't get a hold of Nadya but she used to talk about this place so figured I'd come check it out." The very aura of Alpha bled from Tet. Leo may have been an Alpha's son but he was 2nd born and even younger than Nadya which meant many times growing up she pulled rank on him too. He had grown up without anyone giving a single thought to him being any sort of leader. It wasn't like Leo minded either, it allowed him to do his own thing and pursue his own life. With all of that in mind, Leo didn't move from where he stood 'less the Alpha took offense so simply stood waiting for his approval while many eyes were trained on them waiting as well to see what the outcome of the encounter would be.
