West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

I can sense Tobi's possessive nature coming out in him as we move through the crowd and for the moment, I don't mind. Usually I don't understand his need to possess people like their objects but in a crowd like this, I wouldn't be here alone. I can sense the eyes watching us and I can feel the men's desires to reach out and touch. The thought alone disgusts me and I find myself shifting close to Tobi, the only familiar one here. I can sense his excitement the further we get into the crowd too, like he lives off this atmosphere of insanity. I shudder. I don't think I'll be coming here if I can help it.

When we get to the obstacle course, the fire strikes cold fear into me. It's always been the one thing that can make me turn into a puddle of fear faster than anything else. I've run from forest fires before with my pack and I've watched my house burn to the ground. We've moved around a lot in my life time so I understand the destruction that they can bring. He merely stares at me for a minute or two as if he doesn't know how to react to my emotions. Instantly I feel regret for showing him that side of me. I don't like making anyone uncomfortable, especially on my behalf.

I know anyone in the close proximity can smell my fear and for a minute, I shrink back from him a little. The look in his eyes....it's scary. When I speak though, he seems to come back to himself, his shoulders rolling and I feel a tremor of relief. Finally he shrugs and points in another direction and raising a brow in confusion, I follow his gaze. Suddenly he grabs my hand and I'm helpless to fight back, following him once more through the crowd. I turn and see the fighting ring as we walk and I shrink toward him again when I see the two creatures going at each other. I can smell the blood and it terrifies me.

When he speaks, I turn to look at him in surprise before looking where he's pointing and I see a fancy table. I blink at him before nodding mutely, slowly taking a seat at the table as if entranced. I watch him curiously, wondering what this is about. When he picks up the menu, I notice that it's upside down. I part my lips to say something but think better of it and turn back to my own menu. Something tells me Tobi wouldn't take kindly to someone pointing out something he's doing wrong. I furrow my brow in concentration as I try to make out the items on order. I can only barely read from teaching myself. No one ever volunteered to do such a thing, not that I expected them to. Now that I've been living with Raven, I live off of books though. I read by the fireplace almost every night, especially when she's not there.

When he looks up toward the battling ring at the sound of a cry, I turn my head also, eyes widening like saucers at the scene before me. He grins though and looks back at me, his comment causing curiosity to cross my features once more. I blink a few times.

"Okay...what do you want to talk about?"

He looks at me as if expecting me to come up with something but luckily the waitress arrives. Tobi points at something on his menu as if he knows exactly what to do. The waitress looks amused but writes it down before turning to me. I shrink back a little at the sudden attention, glancing quickly at the menu.

"Um...the chicken tender basket please. No sauce."

I know what chicken tastes like and it's pretty yummy so that's got to be a good choice, right? The woman takes my order and walks away and I turn my gaze back to Tobi. He still seems to want to talk so what should we talk about?

"So Tobi...I'm sorry about earlier. I just....I really don't like fire. I've seen it destroy things in seconds. Don't you have something you just really can't stand to be around?"
