West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

West
Home is where I learned the truth about despair. There's a reason why it was, by definition, hell on earth. Hope. That one day, one of them would look upon me and see not a monster, but the little girl from their memories. It was there, with them, that I learned there can be no true despair without hope.
There's something almost nostalgic, laying here next to Raven. I'm not entirely sure what it is -- for not even in my earliest memories can I remember being entwined with another in such a manner. Yet, I find myself inexplicably comfortable...as if I have done this all my life...when I know without a shadow of a doubt that no one, not even my own sister, had felt comfortable enough in my presence to surrender themselves entirely to my mercy. To welcome my touch. To feel comfort in my embrace. I was... no... am a monster. And no one trusts a monster to be anything but what they are.

Yet here is Raven...pressed against my flesh, seeping in my warmth and relishing the silent strength that only a monster can exude. She knows my mind -- in parts. Can see the scars marring every inch of obsidian flesh beneath her cheek. Yet, here she is. Somehow, unafraid. Somehow, she has been able to glimpse serenity in my nearness. This...kinship...I seem to have formed with the lupine girl both amuses and confounds me. Though all the while, I know without question, I would kill to keep her whole, happy and at my side. Anyone and anything...and inexplicably this does not bother her. For I know she can see the darkness that lingers in the depths of my gaze. Can glimpse the shadows that mar my moral compass from black and white to infinite shades of grey.

Until now, I have simply existed throughout the years. Kill or be killed. Fighting to live, all the while being hunted. Now, with Raven, for the first time...I feel as though I am more. More than just existing. For the first time, I feel as though I am...living.

My introspection is short lived, as I am brought back to the present when the touch of Raven's mind caresses my own. So, Tetradore had a sister. I wonder if she is anything like him... If the same enigmatic emerald eyes are reflected on her face as well. Somehow, I doubt that. I don't think anyone has eyes quite like his. Nor should they. There is a touch of disdain and...emptiness in Raven's mental voice when she talks about the female. This...Nadya. For this alone, I dislike her instantly. Anyone who can evoke that detached tone in Raven is someone I would rather not be a party to. However, in this case, it seems I would have no choice in the matter. A second. Interesting indeed. I had met Tobi briefly, the image of the tawny leopard still ingrained against my first meeting with the trio of Were's.

The moment Raven lifts her head from my shoulder, I lift my own head until our gazes lock. There is something more to this story. Something more to this...Nadya...than what she has told me. Before her mind even brushes against my own, I can taste the anger simmering in the air. Feel the tension radiating off her in waves. Whatever this thing is, I know I am NOT going to like it.

I was right. I didn't like it. Not a single bit. Not only did this...Nadya not like my friend, she had also trespassed on her territory. For to felines, anything they possess is theirs. This Nadya should have known better. Tobi was spoken for. Was he not? Does this mean that the leopard had committed a similar sin? Had he betrayed my only friend in his self pursuit of pleasure? A low snarl rattles in my chest at the very thought of both or either of them hurting Raven. Her pain -- mental or physical -- is something I will not tolerate. Perhaps it was time I introduced my new pack-mates to the monster...

"I hate her." My mental voice is all but a snarl of indignation and barely restrained rage. "This...Nadya...should I kill her?" I keep my gaze locked with that of Raven's. Curling my onyx lips to reveal the glimmering ivory of my teeth. I mean it. I know Raven knows I mean it. I would kill this Nadya if Raven asked it of me. She had only to say the word.
