West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Take Me Where I've Never Been

I really shouldn't be here. I know that. I should be back at my Uncle's apartment. But I can't. I simply just can't. I never did respond correctly to those that would yell at me. Even if I did something wrong, and trust me I did a lot of things wrong in my younger years, my parents never raised a hand nor voice. They discussed my actions and the affects it had not just on them, but on others, and more importantly on myself. I never did enjoy seeing my Father giving me a stern look or my Mothers' soft violet eyes held with such disappointment. My Uncle apparently doesn't understand that young at a teenager that just turned eighteen wasn't the wisest decision to make. I'm a spit fire. I can yell and bicker like him and I think I'm pretty damn good at it too. Though tonight I felt that I wasn't really in the mood to yell at him throughout the night. I mean there were other things that I needed to focus on. Like gee, I don't now, some boy with the ability to make me feel cold and warm decided to kiss my cheek. Did I mention this boy was capable of turning into a horse? I mean...isn't that every little girls' dream? To have their pony kiss them? I wanted to ask him why he would do such a thing. I mean I've seen all the TV shows, I've read all the books, and there was always a boy and girl that kissed...and that meant something more. I barely know the guy and he had the audacity to kiss my cheek? I didn't tell my Uncle about this, because if I did, I am sure Frost would be dead. As I stand here quietly my arms fold across me, as my voice holds exasperated sigh and I explain just exactly what my Uncle would do to me, if he knew I was here, whether he truly wanted to listen to it or not.

"My Uncle would give a lecture on why I shouldn't stray far from home. Then he would ask where I was and most likely go out and make me get all sorts of shots for diseases that may not even exist. Then I would have to take an extremely long hot shower to clean off the 'filth' I collected. Put me in a plastic ball and make me stay in the apartment like that for an entire year. All the while planning different ways on how to exterminate you, because you know, all supernatural creatures are agents of the Devil, blah blah blah."

As my bright blue eyes began to roll I turn my head away from him in a moment, my attention more so on the large ship within the distance. I have heard of this so-called Ark. I think it is a clever name. Uncle Azrael informed me about the pack that resided there. They didn't cause much trouble, but he did tell me two of their members had stolen his pristine ancient, well-tailor made boots. Really, a grown ass man is so concerned about his boots...makes me question his, well, his preference on gender. Hey, I am pro-choice on whatever and whoever you want to love, but you can always buy another pair of boots, I'm just saying. Before, when I was walking up to Frost and this ragged man, I have overheard their conversation about the injured Were. Puzzled my brows furrowed as I put the pieces together, a bit troubled, because what he said didn't make sense. My Uncle informed me about the members and I am sure Frost didn't mean to be wrong, but...the correct information does need to be out there. Slowly I tuck some of my blonde strands out from my eyes, as I speak evenly, gently, I don't want to deflate his ego. God, men and their damn egos â€" they were all the same.

"But earlier you mentioned something about the canine that belonged to the feline pack getting hurt...surely they would accept another canine within their folds. That is a shame about the injured canine maybe you could help them and find the culprit?"

I give him an soft encouraging smile as my bright eyes look into that one violet orb. I flattered his ego, yes, yes I did, because dammnit I don't want him to cast me out too. I just left my Uncle for the night and the last thing I wanted to do was lose a person I know. We are not friends, we barely know each other, but we are acquaintances on good terms. As long as I don't screw it up. I do notice how still he gets as he keeps his eyes on me, I am a concerned and puzzled as to why he does such a thing. I look back over to the other man as introduced himself...in well...not a good light. I nod my head. He and I are alike in a way. We are both lost. I stick my hand out to him, as is proper custom, as I soft voice trickles out.

"Nice to meet you too, but I never caught your name."

As soon as we shake hands I throw him another smile before Frost decides on just what action to take. I listen to him offer his place to stay. I know I shouldn't go with him. I mean I don't know him that long. He came into my Uncles' home and inquired a personal question, and kissed me cheek, what was he going to do to me at his place? Touch my hair and push it past my ear as he inquires my deepest darkest secret. Nope. No way. Not interested in the slightest. I mean my Uncle would kill me. Then bring me back to life just to kill me again if I went with him. Yet I am stubborn and I didn't want to return to my Uncle's home and have to settle for another screaming match. Maybe it was best if I laid low. Dinner didn't sound so bad, but I would go back to my Uncles' place to sleep. Yes, I think that would be a good idea. I mean I wouldn't have to make him worry. Just because we got into a fight doesn't mean I don't care for him. I nod my head politely as I take a tentative step towards him.

"I am sure your companion could use some warm food and a place to sleep other than a bench that is very kind of you. As for me, I will be happy to have some company and food, before I go back home."

Let him down easy...yea I think I did that.
