West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It had not been that easy to willingly walk around the Ark after the traumatic ordeal. Ever since her argument with Tobias she attempted to make some sort of effort to be 'out' as Tobias said. At first she would walk along the Ark with him at her side with the Ark staff around preparing for each nights' activity. It had not been as hard as she thought. There was a sense of familiarity when she was in the same presence as those she knew. Thankfully no one barged in and asked questions about that night. There was only short pleasant conversations, enough to reaffirm the familiarity between herself and the staff, but also dealing with Tobias' childish antics. It was when the group of patrons came did she become anxious and even with Tobias' presence she felt safe when she was back in her room. Each night she would go out and walk among the thick crowds forcing herself to get used to be around the other Weres.

Even though the attack was done by one Were it was enough to cause Raven to're-start.' It had taken her a few years to adjust being around those of her own kind. Her ability to tolerate her own kind was ensured through numerous trials and errors, but she preferred staying alone finding it safe for her and them. It wasn't until she ran into Tobias did she actually become comfortable enough to even want to be closer to her kind. Now she was trying to speed up that process as quickly as she possibly could. Tonight she had done as Tobias wanted and left her room, but now that it was near her usual bedtime she was 'released.'

Tonight she felt a bit more active than usual. Perhaps it was the energy from the fights below or that she had a 'rousing' time chasing the spotted cat in her lupine form trying to retrieve one of her many books. Apparently he wanted her to 'stretch her legs' and force her to get used to shifting again. Tobias meant well, but she really didn't think it was necessary to run amok within the crowd of Weres. The last thing she wanted to do was piss off one of the patrons. Or she was feeling a bit anxious about tomorrow night, because Tobias felt it was necessary to enter the two in a duo fight contest â€" the boy believing this was a sure fire way to get herself fighting again. Fighting may be his form of entertainment and he felt she ought to join him and subtly she believed the boy true goal was to stimulate some sort of self-confidence back in her. In order to get her mind off such a terrifying thing she was propped up in the hammock her finger turning the page of her book, as her other find tapped against the binding of the book that still held Tobias' teeth marks. It was the sound of the light lock on the door and the familiar voice of the red-head she had not seen in quite a while.

Puzzled she dog flapped the edge of the paper as she placed it on the hammock before walking towards the locked door. Grabbing the lock she unhinged it opening the door slightly as she peered through to see the familiar vampire. Widening the door and allowing Isolt enough space to enter she would close the door once more and locking it before she turned around. She was still littered with multiple dark bruises, but she wasn't in such a terrible state as before. Confused, and yet happy to have a friend here, she gave a small simper to the girl as her fingers began to twist around one another in a nervous and frigidity manner.

"Isolt, what are you doing here? Is everything okay?"
