East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

There was a certain sort of monotony to be enjoyed within the curious little cafe he'd brought to life. The aroma of coffee soothed his soul, the creation of such delectable beverages keeping him busy enough to forget the mission his species had been tasked with. His life had revolved far too long upon the extinguishing of other lives till, inevitably, it had lost it's charm, it's value. And thus, the Inner Sanctum was born, though certainly not without it's own set of difficulties. It had been worth it all in the end, however, at least to Alexander. He leaned lackadaisically against the bar of the cafe, a soft yawn settled upon his lips. The evenings were always extremely slow, often times leaving himself primarily without a barista to deal with his customers. Alexander hardly mined, however, using the time as an excuse to perfect his latte art and exotic mixtures of coffee beans and espressos. The raspberry mocha, although rarely ordered was an easy creation and though Alexander effortlessly identified the young ivory haired woman as a witch, he hardly muttered a word to her, having no interesting who or what she was. Briefly, his blue-green gaze lingered upon the female as she slipped outside, settling beneath an umbrella despite the rain that pour outside. His eyebrows rose ever so slightly but Alexander was willing enough to allow the witch to keep to herself.

His gaze flickered from the young woman towards the man that stepped up in front of him, a rare glimpse of surprise slipping across his stoic features at the order he was presented with. He studied the figure in front of him, noting the wrinkles beneath his eyes. "Long night?" He inquired, though his statement was more rhetorical then anything else. The Dark Hunter was hardly perturbed by the man's thick accent, having heard many enough within his long life to effortlessly pull out the words muttered regardless of his pitch. Frankly, it was just another obvious sign that this...warlock hardly had an easy evening and if caffeine was what he desired, Alexander was more then happy to oblige. His movements were deftly carried out, espresso and coffee mixing together in what Alexander was certain to provide the energy his customer clearly needed. After a moment longer, the Macedonian man turned back towards the warlock, offering him the dark colored liquid. "It's strong but, it'll do the job." He promised, his head momentarily tilting to the side inquisitively.

Sometimes, despite all of Alexander's best intents, some habits died hard and some instincts were hard to ignore. Although the cafe saw it's fair share of supernatural patrons, it seemed peculiar to him that two witches should see fit to come at the exact same time frame at such a slow hour. "Friend of yours?" He questioned, briefly gesturing towards the platinum blonde female. It wasn't his business, of course, and he knew this but Alexander preferred to be aware of what was going on within his establishment. Usually he held nothing against the supernaturals, letting them come and go unhunted as they pleased but something tugged at his instincts, causing him to deviate from his usual isolated nature. Perhaps they didn't know each other at all, perhaps they were only friends or perhaps they were apart of some dastardly coven attempting some sort of deathly witch craft. Frankly, Alexander wasn't sure he cared either way as long as his cafe wasn't involved.
