East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

It was perhaps, one of the great misfortunes of the male form, a betrayal that had surely afflicted them all at times far less required. When certain wants became desires such thoughts more often than not became far too difficult to hide in any physical sense and yet in this moment Dorian hardly finds he is displeased with such a reaction from Sebastian's form- the man offering little more than a soft chuckle of amusement. After all, he hardly desires his companion any less, he is merely saved by the fortune of jeans that are not near so tight as to make all things more evidently noted by those as observant as himself. Yet he is very near forced to shift in position all the same at the mere murmurings of these things he might be given to imagine Sebastian should desire to do to him- and oh how much he wants him too! His own mention of ideas seems to only prompt the vampire further in the moments that follow and Dorian returns the unfortunate teacup to the woman, rescuing it perhaps, from the fate it would surely have met within his own hands at the return of those softly spoken lyrics. Ah, but his mind was always afflicted with ideas to try. Indeed of late Dorian had been given to consider several in which he held every desire to engage Sebastian. After all, why should he waste a partner of such talent as his vampire companion? Those with truly good hands were difficult to come by, Dorians curiosity in this area alone far from sated.

"Alors la prochaine fois que je vais vous exposer trop mes idées. Tous." (Then next time I shall subject you too my ideas. All of them.)

It is far less tease and far more promise, the slate of his gaze resting entirely upon the vampires own. Allowing him to see exactly every want that existed within them. Indeed the moment they are given to reach the end of the street Dorian remains content to put forward one of these very ideas. There was, after all, a great pleasure in these games they played and indeed Dorian holds little desire to cease such teasing. Yet even he cannot continue to deny himself that which he so truly desires for too long- there are merits, surely, to taking Sebastian before it is they go out for the night- if only to prevent his mind from the utter distraction that the vampire so proves to be in moments such as this where he craves him so entirely. Such an arrangement too, would surely provide Sebastian with that life he so thirsted for, offering them, perhaps, at least a little longer to enjoy one another's company afterword. Removing any need for the vampire to seek his meal for the evening. Sebastian's agreement to such a plan is met with a ready simper and Dorians own nod of assertion, the Fae finding himself content in yet another 'next time' to be had before it is so Sebastian's admittance that he would surely take him here and now were it not for the lingering crowd sees the silver of his gaze return to the man. How such a thought had already played upon his mind this evening! Indeed within this single night Dorian had come to consider much of the way things were, of how perhaps the rules had changed without his knowledge- that it might well be so such things could happen and indeed he is intrigued by this. He will found out, he is sure, exactly the way of things before it is they next meet. Even if it is he must subject Samantha to his endless questioning on the topic. Such things however, do little to halt the barely whispered words that part of his lips upon a murmur.

"Un jour, je vais vous laisser." (One day, I will let you.)

He must simply understand the rules of this world first- though it would seem he is willing enough to make at least one concession tonight. For all his age, Dorian is hardly incapable of learning or embracing that which is so very new to him. The Fae moving to reach down and take Sebastian's hand in his own. Such a thing as this in his time, to hold another mans hand, in public, was punishable by burning at the stake itself and yet here and now Dorian is determined to forgo it. There was something distinctly pleasurable in a way far more chaste about even this touch, Dorian distinctly aware of the affliction of emotion this single embrace seems to ensnare him with and yet he chooses not to taint such a moment with any talk of that. Instead, he finds his gaze lifted with inquisitiveness to the man whom had stepped towards him now.

"I should like to see it."

He assures simply, allowing the vampire to lead now. No part of him, truly, desired to relinquish the man from his presence in any fashion and yet for this moment at least he affords it no comment as Sebastian adjusts there direction. It had been several hundred years since Dorian had followed another. Indeed the man was entirely used to others following him about and yet he finds he quite enjoys this lack of knowledge as to where they are going. It is hardly a far walk, the pair pausing momentarily outside what appears to be a garden of some sort, Dorian frowning ever so slightly in an effort to perceive just what Sebastian was so determined to show him. He moves to follow his companion all the same, careful to manoeuvre himself through the iron gate, offering the vampire a nod of assurance in the moment he looks back before pausing beside him.

"I....oh, oh."

He feels his own gaze widen readily in the moments it takes his eyes to adjust to what exactly exists before him, a look of utter awe adorning his features in that moment. He steps away from Sebastian now, utterly incapable of preventing this curiosity as he wanders towards the first of an immeasurable number of pieces. He has never seen such plants as these! The shape, the colour! His fingers extend towards it, halted only so long as it takes him to turn back towards the vampire and assure himself touching it would bring about no ill effects (he remembers the salt water incident) before allowing his fingers to caress the smooth, shaped surface.

"It does not feel as normal flowers- it is, I think, made of something other than...nature."

Glass itself- was a relatively modern invention for the fairy King. He had learned indeed to recognise windows and yet outside of such it remained largely a mystery to him. Glass such as this, coloured, shaped, very near aglow beneath the canopy of stars above was exquisite in every sense of the word- his utter wonderment at it incapable of retaining itself. This far more grand then the single fairy light that had held his attention before. The smile that adorns his features is nothing short of glorious as he moves from piece to piece, fingers running across each and every curve and dip in a fashion almost child-like with its fascination. The whispered words of the vampire are hardly missed and yet it is several moments indeed before the Fae turns back to his companion, a single stride closing the distance between them. It is all-too-easy to wrap his arms around Sebastian's neck, pulling the vampire too and against him, allowing his lips to brush feather-light across the mans own in tempting tease. Dorian pulling back ever so slightly.

"I enjoy this very much."

The words are very near whispered against Sebastian's lips before Dorian moves to press his own more firmly to Sebastian now in a far more proper kiss- every bit of appreciation laced within such a gesture. Dorian unashamedly relishing the taste of him.
