East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Nadya Tetradore

Normally Nadya wouldn't share much about her children to a stranger but Scarlett hadn't given her any reason to distrust her during both their current and past interaction. It wasn't exactly a line of topic that she talked about either with non-family or those who she was very close to. There was slight hesitation before she answered the wolf's question, "Micah is my boy and Isabel is my girl, they're just a bit over a year and a half now. Sometimes they come with me to work at the burlesque but they stay in my office during business hours, so you may see them around eventually." It was quite likely that if Scarlett worked for her that she would at some point meet the twins. The twins were a known sight to the workers at the burlesque having seen the pair grow up.

Nadya picked her way down the forest pathway leading Scarlett back towards town. She noted that the clouds overhead gained more control as they swirled and parted to allow the sun's rays down on Nadya. The quiet solitude that the Southern forests offered ended when their paws hit cement. People milled about the park though they didn't turn any attention to the perhaps odd site of a panther and wolf trodding together from the forest. Weres were of course known in the city and any animal was usually just assumed to be one. Nadya gave a soft snort at Scarlett's comment. "That sounds like him." Frost was certainly notorious for manipulating a situation to his own advantage. Nadya glanced over at the canine a few paces off to her side. "Don't expect that mysterious part to go away any time soon. It's just who he is." Again she didn't elaborate on how she knew such thing, instead averting her attention back to the sidewalk they were on, leading Scarlett from the South to the East.

Only once they had reached the length of brick building where a neon light sign hung scrawling Cat's Meow did Nadya stop. The light was out indicating closed but Nadya led Scarlett down the alleyway to the right of the building to the small parking lot located in the back where a few cars were parked. She could easily tell from the cars parked that a few of her dancers were there to practice their routines before the business opened. That meant the backdoor was unlocked. Nadya rose onto her hindlegs and pressed with all her weight with her front paws on the long bar of the steel door forcing it to swing open. "The girls are here practicing, follow me." Light music and voices filtered through the air as she led Scarlett into the burlesque. The panther's ebony form was enveloped by the shadows through the electrical area running alongside the backstage area until they emerged on the main floor where the tables were arranged in front of the stage. The Fae cast a glance towards the Weres there but recognized Nadya's form so only offered her a nod in acknowledgement before resuming their practice.

"Here's where you'd work." Nadya spoke at long last, nodding her head to the main floor. "It's not too big, we have 20 tables in all, each holding 6 comfortably. We do have a packed house nearly every night so you'll have to be able to keep up. It's not a full range kitchen, basic food for clubs really but we have an extensive alcohol selection so it's mostly drink orders that you'll handle. You'll take the orders then bring them to AJ who is our bartender. You'll also be expected to work with AJ in setting up before we open and cleaning up after close. You can have whatever you want from the kitchen during your shift but no drinking on the clock." Nadya's haunches curled to seat herself on the wooden floor in front of the length of the bar as her golden eyes set back on Scarlett. "Think you can handle that?" The panther's head tilted slightly in wait. It may be quite a bit for someone like Scarlett to handle and Nadya didn't want to put any tasks on the girl that may lead her to flounder.
