East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian Ellingtonget close enough to have fun
but not enough to get attached

It was entirely within the vampire's nature to be the very definition of 'no-strings-attached'. He asked no questions, he brought with him no complications, he was enigmatic and more akin to a ghast than anything else - there one moment and gone the next with but a fleeting memory left behind. It hardly mattered to him what she had been occupying herself with since they had last seen each other, several years prior. Her relationship status was meaningless, her abrasive greeting only moments before was too already forgotten. All that mattered in that singular moment to the vampire was the way in which her body moved in near perfect sync with his own, stepping with immaculate timing to the familiar tune of the Santa Maria. He chased that toned figure across the dance floor with each dip and twist and carefully choreographed step, and yet, as her back arched ever so perfectly within his arms, the vampire allowed the smallest brush of that shared affinity to caress her frame, so bringing to life those age old feelings of attraction the two had shared in those tug of wars that once took place in the splendor of his hotel bedroom. He could nearly feel her body react to him, wanting him in the same way it used to even as her sly tone saw fit to remind him of exactly who her mentor had been - like he could ever forget.

He pulled her body back against his own, his hands moving down the sides of her dress and towards her hips in the fashion that dance so called for. There was an undeniable electricity between the pair - even without the touch of his affinity and the brush of his ability was certainly enough to light those burning coals into a veritable fire. Still, he waited for that familiar pull - that touch of something that was uniquely her's, that ability he had so meticulously assisted her in crafting and growing and gaining some measure of understanding. Sebastian was well aware of her leg sliding up his physique as she hooked around his waist, those teasing words brought a warm simper to his features and though he assisted in ensuring she remained where she should, he could hardly help the way his free hand so brushed against the skin of her leg before spinning her back upon both of her feet, her body nearly flush against his as her hand reached up to brush against his features. His eyebrow rose ever so slightly, entirely aware of her efforts to goad him before that intimate rush of desire so flooded over him - ah, there it was.

He could feel that hunger for her flesh fill his thoughts and alight his figure, with little but inches between their lips it was entirely hard to resist that simple want and so, in a manner of speaking, he didn't. He glided the girl into another bend before pulling her back into his arms, his lips momentarily brushing against the sensitive skin of her neck as he uttered softly for her ears alone, "And I seem to remember well the sounds you made when I did so...enjoy...you." His teeth brushed tauntingly across her flesh, his breath entirely warm against that collarbone before he shifted with that music, pulling away from her only to instead reach up for her hand and guide her into another series of steps that took them across the length of that stage. There was something altogether comfortable about that moment, something that simple felt right, having her in his arms and yet, he knew well it was but their shared ability speaking. His tongue slid across his lips with a certain sort of hunger as he guided her into that spin, letting her body twirl to afford him a glimpse of every angle before his affinity reached out to the woman, clearly intending to match her intensity.
