East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

East
i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

The East side was not one of her most favorite places within the city. In no way did she belong on this side of town. The she-wolf was far more comfortable spending her time within the slums of the West District. There was something quite appealing within that area. The salty sea air mixed in with the grey fog. The people both seedy and not roaming around the place. She knew her way around the place like the back of her hand. Of course one would claim that she was a 'hood rat' and yet she didn't look the part. It was home and it was natural for her to feel safe and comfortable in the area that was considered a sanctuary. The other location that she enjoyed was the South. The park was ideal and the woods were absolutely glorious! How she loved to roam through the grass, twisting and turning between the trees, the cool breeze running through her ebony and grey thick fur. Though the South had its own dangers. The first time she ran through the South she was caught within a trap, the silver teeth snapping into her paw. Luckily the raven-haired witch was there to help her and begrudgingly the blonde Dark Hunter too. Other than books there was only one reason why she would dare allow herself to be on this side of town. She was hunting for someone. She needed answers.

Before her Alpha died. Before the world of the Nightshade pack crumbled. The woman had endured a painful and awful night. Trapped within the were-horse that nearly killed her, she was attacked and harmed by a Dark Hunter who held such a dirty, dirty secret. Somehow...that man controlled her own Father, a Father she thought she had killed. Without anyone's knowledge Raven had begun to dig into the world of Dark Hunters. Searching for the one that was responsible for her harm and for revealing to her that the one man she feared the most, other than Frost, was still around. This particular Dark Hunter she was searching for did not set traps in the woods, unlike the other smaller Dark Hunters, this one was far more conniving with his special traps. She was told by a vampire that the Dark Hunter she was searching for had friends on the East side and so she was looking for one of his 'friends.' Though she was not doing too well in this endeavor. He was quite good at covering his scent. Quietly she wandered down upon the sidewalk, her hands stuffed within the pockets of her black hoodie. She casually looked in the other direction when she walked past any individual, not liking it when others looked her way, knowing that out of habit they would stare at her mutilated face.

The she-wolf hardly wanted to bother others. She kept to herself. So, when she heard the sound of someone shouting behind her, she didn't think of it. It was when she heard he familiar sound of a gunshot did she turn around to see why she would hear such a thing. Blue-grey eyes when she saw a chestnut haired man running at top speed, the ends of his trench coat flying behind him, with a gun holding steady in his hand. Without a second thought the she-wolf began to run down the street, turning into a dark alley way shifting into her wolfish form. Four grey paws slammed into the pavement as she began to run appearing back onto the sidewalk. Ignoring the sound of cars honking on their horns or screeching to a halt she continued to run across the streets, dodging between people. It was foolish of a Dark Hunter to be shooting in public, especially when there were innocent lives walking about. It was foolish of her to even shift in front of others, let alone be seen in front of them. Yet she was in no position to be safe. It was the sound of another shot that caused her to quicken her step. As she turned around to see him, she used her telekinesis to yank the gun out of his hands tossing it across to the street, hoping that would make him harmless. Right as she was to turn her head back forward she collided into the other she-wolf, the peculiar coated lupine tumbling to the ground, in a daze.
