East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Yumi was certainly different when she was well fed but Damon liked it. She was excited and adventurous this way. Not that she wasn't fun to begin with but all this talk of drinking and dancing and karoake, well, it sounded like a good time to him. He knew that the usual Yumi would probably not always agree with things she did after "feeding" but he would keep her from doing anything too regrettable, right? That's what friends are for, after all. He didn't mind that she wanted to go out and have fun with him. He wasn't planning on cheating on Isolt or anything. He knew his limitations. He and Yumi could have all kinds of fun PG. She seemed excited about the idea of singing which made him all too curious of her singing voice. Was she hiding a past of fame from them? He could only wonder. She put a hand on her hip and eyed him, saying she could rival him and guitar hero it out some day. She even brought up Rock Band and how they could make up the band. He chuckled under his breath, raising a brow in amusement.

"Yeah, I guess we would."

When he warned her that he had the voice of an angel, she laughed and said that she'd be all over him, even teasing him that they shouldn't invite Isolt. He chuckled again, his eyes twinkling.

"Or Malek. Would he be the jealous type?"

He was fishing now, wanting to know more about the relationship between her and this stranger he'd never heard of. They headed toward Red on the Water and then she was reaching for her phone, dialing someone's number. He listened with intrigue as she started talking, wanting to hear the voice on the other end of the phone. He definitely wanted to meet this guy. As she hung up, she turned back to him, that excited expression on her features again as she pointed toward the tavern and then asked for a piggy back ride all of a sudden. He laughed, unable to help himself as he crouched slightly and held out his hands to help her up.

"Only for you."

He gave her a playful wink.
