East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

That broad grin only widens as Miyako yanks her hand away, cheeks blushing furiously claiming that she was indeed not as innocent as she looked. A lie. One she knew he could see through rather easily. By god, the girl was still a virgin! The petite woman could never trust someone enough to simply lay herself bare to them in a physical and mental sense. Yet, here she was, eyeing that muscled abdomen, only drawing her gaze away when he finally drops his shirt, successfully covering those tattoos. Folding her arms over her chest, her lips pout a bit at his teasing and perhaps she might have made a snarky reply until he's leaning against the wall again, his arms folded across his chest.

Hey chocolate eyes linger on the tattoos a moment longer before an unfamiliar word rolls off his lips. Brows shooting up in surprise, she eyes him curiously, her lips parted in fascination at the language she didn't know. "What does that mean?" she asks, "That word you just called me, what's it mean?" she asks again, waiting patiently for an answer before she returns to his question at hand. She falls deep into thought, not wanting to lose to his challenge. Though, she can still hear that teasing note coating his lyrics, Miya didn't want to lose to something as simple as this.

What story could the girl share to this stranger?

It takes her several moments to think of a suitable story, her bottom lip being sucked into her mouth to chew on thoughtfully. Snapping her fingers suddenly, she unfolds her arms, a bit of triumph dancing in those eyes. Letting her slender fingers grasp the hem of her own shirt, she lifts it slightly, revealing a small scar along her side. Pointing at it, she glances down at it before she returns her gaze to Magnus. A wry grin dancing on her own lips, "When I was a kid, I asked my mom if I could ride my bike by myself around the loop we had by our house, she told me no. So, when she went to take a nap, I decided that I was going to do it anyways. I couldn't have been more than nine or ten years old. I was almost home when I wrecked, I landed on a stick and it pierced right here," she pauses a moment, pointing at the small scar, "And the end came out here," she said, gesturing to the other scar close to the first.

Glancing back up to the man, she smiles broadly at him, "See? I'm not all that much of a goody two shoes!" She exclaims, a bit of laughter coating her lyrics. That laugh of hers was practically musical. Allowing Magnus to inspect the small scars for a few more moments, she finally lowers her shirt and runs a hand over the fabric to smooth out the wrinkles. "Just because I don't have tattoos doesn't mean I've always followed the rules," she laughs again, her hands finding their position on her hips in a rather sassily manner. She imagined that her story wasn't something Magnus was expecting to hear. Grinning broadly at him, she leans up against the wall again before letting herself slide to the ground, her legs extended in front of her, nearly touching Magnus's own feet.

Smiling apologetically up at him, "Sorry, it's a bit hot and standing is taking too much energy right now," she explains with a small shrug, "You can sit... next to me if you'd like?" She asks, her hand patting the ground next to her. Giving him a moment to accept or to decline, she withdraws her hand and sets it in her lap. "So, Magnus, what crazy things have you done?"
