East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Cause i've been dancing with shadows

Truthfully, the vampire hadn't the slightest notion of what to do with the Dark Hunter in his arms. Through her sobs had slowly lessened, he was hardly any closer to discovering what had prompted them in the first place, though he wasn't sure he wanted to know either. After all, the young woman had been nothing but brash every encounter with her and yet, here she was, crying in his arms. How did he wind up in situations such as this? Despite those thoughts which ran so rampant within his mind, the Englishman said particularly little as he followed those familiar streets down towards that particularly family friendly neighborhood. He knew where it was, in theory, though it was not often that Sebastian stalked these streets. His own victims tended to be young college girls or recent graduates making their way through the world in seedy apartments. This was out his norm - though truly what of tonight wasn't? He stood on the corner of those streets just within that neighborhood, attempting to coax some level of direction from the Huntress only to be rewarded with the weak, disorientated flailing of her limbs in an effort to stand once again. As if she hadn't learned well enough last time?

He said naught a word on the futility of those efforts, instead slowly shifting to provide the woman the best hope of success as he placed her feet upon the ground. The vampire hovered nearby as she attempting to find some sort of stability throughout whatever so laced her system and yet, after a few wobbly moments, she seemed upright enough for the man to give her a touch of space. His blue eyes remained steadfast upon the girl as she so seemed to gasp for breath. Those words, when they finally did come, were soft and disjoined and yet, his keen hearing and sharp mind were able to make quick work of them. Sebastian nodded, stepping closer towards her as he began to lead that way in the direction she pointed. She seemed to want to walk on her own two feet and though he fully allowed her too, he was fully prepared to assist if her equilibrium should once again falter. Thankfully, finding that mysterious 621 Orange was hardly difficult, a fact he was quite grateful for. Heaven forbid there be an Orange Street, Orange Avenue, and Orange Block - though he'd seen some neighborhoods get nearly that ridiculous with street names, he hardly wished to visit every house in an effort to get her home.

For a moment, he eyed the facade of that house, the lights in the upper floors still on to indicate someone was awake. Even so, he hardly bothered the residents, carefully moving as he had been instructed towards the only structure he could find that was 'not the main house'. Frankly, it looked more like a.....er....quaint...mother-in-law suite. The sort of place you'd put mother-in-laws you particularly did not like. It was only at that door that he paused to glance back at her, a small frown on his features. "All right, dollface, do you think you can hand me the keys or do I have to go fishing for them?" He inquired, eying her as if she was some sort of venus fly trap that might bite him for touching any part of her she deemed unnecessary. It was true that he'd carried her home but, he doubted severely she'd look upon fishing through the pockets of those tight jeans nearly as favorably. And, frankly, he already was hesitant of what would come we'd she'd fully regained the use of all of her limbs.
