East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The stars in their orbits

Nadya was far too concentrated on her dislike for the building and backing out from whatever was behind those exam room doors. That was until Raven's stance took on a more authoritative nature, standing straight and tall which was only a purely Alpha right in Nadya's mind. It caused her to bristle more towards the wolf but at least broke her concentration on the fear and getting out of the building. It was with reluctance that she took the clipboard again and eyed the questions. She had never really thought of Raven and Tobi together long term. She simply figured Raven was a phase Tobi was going through like anything else he did. "It is not his cub. It is mine; it's a Tetradore bloodline. Tobi can't even take care of himself, there's no way he's going to be left alone with this cub let alone have it call him father." There wasn't any real venom in her voice but she was completely sure she didn't want Tobi having any rearing responsibility for the cub. Nadya quickly filled out the questions while standing and handed it to the receptionist at the desk. She was nowhere comfortable enough to sit down and with Raven's power keeping her in the waiting room she simply leaned against the wall in wait.

Nadya folded her arms over her chest and glanced at the book Raven held up. She would have gotten there eventually...maybe. "I'm touched, really, by all the concern you seem to be trying to show but my trust for wolves and cubs don't reach very far. Your kind came through my pack back home and ripped apart eight young ones walking home from school one day. ...There was so much blood." Her voice trailed off as the memory of that day flooded her mind and shuddered through her. Perhaps she'd understand now or perhaps even not care about those delicate lives lost. There wasn't much time to dwell on it as the nurse called out her name from the waiting list. "Our turn." Nadya raked a hand through her hair, glancing towards Raven before following the nurse back to the designated exam room. She may be angry at Raven and not trust her wolf side but it was her doing that dragged Nadya in here and there was no way she was going to be alone in a room with a doctor. "Go ahead and take a seat on the table there." Nadya followed the nurse's instruction albeit it very hesitantly. "You can take a seat over there." The nurse smiled and gestured for Raven to take the chair beside the table. "So, how are you doing? Any symptoms? Concerns?"" The nurse stood by the computer screen ready to jot down whatever was needed. Oh this was horribly awkward for Nadya. "Other than feeling like I'm getting fat? I really don't know what to do, I didn't even know I was pregnant until like a week or two ago. She made me come here." Nadya gestured to Raven a little defeated.
