East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

I am the architect of my own destruction

She did nothing but raise her brow at his attempt to mimic her. Her gold eyes narrowing into him as she examined his child-like behavior and broken speech. A being with the face of a grown man yet the mind of a juvenile, a hidden innocence to the world. But she could tell there was a deep, lingering rage inside of him. Her suspicions were further confirmed as his expression darkened, he seemed a volatile being; a ticking time bomb, which she was sure she'd not deploy. She no longer desired to fuel people with rage and provoke and inner explosion from within them, her grasp on her humanity too strong now.

The elder vampire's lips twitched in a one sided smile as his dark unruly locks fell over his face, her head tilting slightly as she listened to him continue with his stuttered speech, she mulled over his statement then gave him a curt not, searching to meet his dark gaze yet again.

"Your secret is safe with me"

When he continued his excuse for conversation she lent back in her chair, folding her hands on her lap. Not allowing herself to show her slight annoyance with his company, it wasn't exactly what she was expecting of her new city and she hoped she'd bump into at least one person who knew proper manner and etiquette . When he spoke of who she could only assume was a respected friend of his and her teachings she raised her brow in slight amused interest again. Curious if this was his attempt in asking for civil friendship or if he was just using her as a test dummy of some sort, either way she just let him continue, her expression never changing much.

As he then went onto compliment her ears she let the smile that was pulling at one corner of her mouth broaden in amusement, neither offended nor complimented by his words but by now she'd decided his attempts of conversation were innocent and not of threat, but she still kept herself aware that this creature had a darker core then what may firstly meet the eye. Although curious about the stranger she felt a warmth towards his attempts and his pride in them, and she would not knock them but accept his attempt in compliment with a warm smile and softer gaze.

She was aware of the entrance of the younger vampire and the way he held himself and addressed the building she was currently in she could only assume he was the owner, or a high authority of some sort. When he came over and demanded the shifter clothe himself, but comprised and offered him something in return which only fueled her suspicions on her first company being a very unstable character. Her golden gaze moved to Damon as the boy decided to lower his hackles and get into appropriate clothing. She watched the glass move over to her and acknowledge the fellow vampire when his words met her ears, a polite and characteristically warm smile on her lips.

Before she decides to respond the one she knows goes by the name Tobias declares he is going to be a vampire and reveals some large fangs with similar vampire characteristics. The fact he revealed he could partial shift revealed to her that he is more dangerous and mentally developed than she first may of thought. When he demands his food her glowing eyes moved back to the man offering her a freebie, the fresh glass she'd been given now in her hand and being delicately raised to her lips as she took a long sip, her eyes never leaving him over the rim of the glass, there was something seductive about her stare, however seduction wasn't what she was aiming to achieve.

"Seeing as you offered I'd most enjoy one of your finest meat pies, Captain"

She had a habit of creating a sort of nickname for people, it was just something she'd always done over her many years and once she'd christened you there was little chance she'd call you much else.
