East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The stars in their orbits

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

Samantha wouldn't last long if Nadya and Tet continued their stubborn charades. If there was anything that the two possessed in common it was the amount of stubbornness they possessed. Nadya watched with her arms crossed over her chest as the large panther circled first the dancer and then Samantha. The dancer swayed slightly in order to avoid getting hair on her outfit before she quickly left the trio's company in order to get on stage before she missed her solo number. Nadya's chocolate orbs turned on Samantha with more critique, dragging her gaze up and down her form. Yes, there was a certain likeness between the dancers and the woman that stood in front of her. The slightly more pointed ears were certainly a good clue but underneath all that layered anxiety was the subtle ethereal pull that their magical species possessed. "Oh, dear, don't bother trying to get my brother to do anything. He's still brooding over his niece and nephew. The man can get a gold star in broodiness and ability to remain quiet for longer periods of time."

"However," Nadya again separated from Samantha and Tet a few feet to a rolling clothes rack that was stuffed with different outfits. "it seems he brought you here specifically because you're a fearie. At least I hope you know you're one." She plucked out a little number of an outfit on a hanger before pressing it into Samantha's hands. "Here. Put this on." Although considering Samantha's anxious behavior Nadya was pretty sure she had not expressed interest in being a dancer or even if she had the talent to do so. Just because someone was a fearie did not mean they were all meant for show business. However, that thought aside, Nadya continued as if there was no problem in the world with her brother bringing in a young woman quite like a sacrificial lamb to slaughter...as if it were a normal occurrence. "With the business taking off the pay is good and you'll be with the other girls so can learn from them." Nadya cast a glance to her brother, one that spoke of doubt and 'I hope you know what you're doing bringing her here.'
