East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Despite the young woman's insistence that he needed something to drink, Tetradore was all together uninterested with her offers, instead remaining entirely still where he rested on the floor of her flat. His emerald eyes followed the girl around the room as she picked up the bowl, returning to the sink to instead offer him water. His gaze only briefly eyed the bowl, a soft snuff leaving his lips and yet, rather then drinking it the feline merely rolled to his unwounded side, making himself as comfortable as possible all things considered. His ears flicked ever so slightly as she continued to speak, hardly protesting to the woman's suggestion to bed, much less offering any kind of sign that he intended to stay the whole night. In fact, it wasn't until the girl bent down in front of him that his gaze truly settled upon her. Thanks apparently was not a word Tetradore knew how to appropriately react to, the man instead letting a puff of air leave his nose as his emerald eyes closed, entirely unable to appreciate the sincerity of the girl's words. He remained still where he was, as if he'd much rather sleep himself them to bother with such heartfelt sensations.

Despite her insistence that he could sleep upon the bed, the cat stayed exactly where he was, letting sleep overtake him in the same fashion that it too seemed to steal her away. It was hours later that the man begun to stir, the dim light from her uncovered window was enough to rouse him. At home, the thick dark curtains kept bay the bright sunlight, his sleep schedule was more nocturnal the otherwise. The smallest of bit of sunlight seeming to put him at ill ease. Slowly, the panther rose, wining ever so slightly at the barb that still rested beneath his flesh. He glanced at his side, noting the fashion his skin had closed only to eye it with entire disdain. A small glob of the acidic spit was all that was necessary to reopen the wound, regardless of the pain that laced through his form. Tetradore made his way towards the girl's bathroom, waiting until he was within that tiled room before allowing the shift to over come him. There was a small sheen of sweat on his figure as he stood entirely naked within her bathroom, his hands tightly gripping the rim of her sink.

A soft huff left his lips as he reached over towards the small piece of wood that stuck out from his side, pulling it slowly from his flesh. His grip on her sink tightened, his knuckles turning white as he hissed with the pain of the barb being pulled from his skin. The bolt clattered onto the ground the moment it was free of his flesh, he stumbled backwards against the wall, leaning there for a long moment to catch his breath before moving again. Slowly, the man made his way into her shower, entirely uncaring of weather or not it was appropriate guest behavior or how much heat he used in the process. In fact, the man was entirely content to steam up the entire bathroom as he washed away the blood from his side. It wasn't until quite a while later that Tetradore emerged from the bathroom, the towel he'd found rested low upon his hips, just under the place where his side was only just beginning to heal - the flesh still a multicolor of bruises from his recent run in with another were.
