East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better

Through out the centuries, Sebastian had watched the party scene change elaborate dresses, well practiced steps and the soft playing of piano to the thrumming of a base, short pieces of cloth and the swaying and grinding of hips. All in all, the scene had drastically shifted, clothing removed until there was little left for the mind to wander and yet, Sebastian hardly minded the change, even if he remained entirely stagnant within the this world he found himself within. Still, the vampire could hardly deny the invitation that had been slipped under his hotel room prior, especially when it was entirely his kind of scene. For tonight alone Sebastian abandoned his usual attire though the outfit he chose held that same victorian era ambience. He'd chosen a silken grey shirt layer with a black vest layered on top. Around his neck he wore a red flared piece of cloth, complete with a longer overcoat and bronze buttons. The entire outfit was finished with a top had complete with a white card with the words "10/6" placed precariously in a red strap. A simper crossed his masculine features as the Hatter eyed himself in the mirror. "I knew who I was this morning but it seems I've changed a few times since then." He surmised to his reflection.

Sebastian stepped out of the luxurious hotel room, hardly hesitating to make his way towards the quaint little tavern that he'd visited only once prior. It had been some time since he had visited last, despite the peculiar amount of fun he happened to enjoy with the young vampire who owned it. Her intent disfavor of the man fascinated him, if only because of his perhaps innate capabilities to allure those who surrounded him. It was a power that he wielded so effortlessly to fulfill his vampiric needs. Never the less, the Hatter stepped into Tavern, his gaze momentarily drifting around the room. He took stock of the costumes that each member of tonight's festivities sported, just like he too took notice of the singular woman within the establishment that he knew and, likewise, was also pleasantly pleased with the turn out of rather ripe and intriguing creatures that filled the room. Quite frankly, Sebastian had no particular preference in gender - he was a predator of opportunity. Some evening he craved a challenge, other times he wanted merely an easy bedding and then, there were nights like tonight, nights where he wanted something different.

It was that difference that caught his interest tonight as his crystalline gaze fell upon a young blonde settled by her lonesome self. His gaze settled upon her as he made his way towards her, close enough to hear the hum of her words. "And what a pirate you would make." He commented, his top hat tilting forward ever so slightly with the smallest bob of his cranium. In truth, he knew all too well she'd be nothing of the sort, the girl was far too pretty for that life of grime and debachery - at least what it had been during his supposed life. However, he was hardly going to ruin her fun with such nearly prehistoric knowledge. Instead, Sebastian gestured lightly with a wave of one gloved hand towards the bar stool beside her, "And is the spot beside you taken, dear captain?" After all, if the Victorian Era had taught the Hatter anything, it was how to be a proper gentleman - mad or not.
