East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

There was only one person Nadya listened to, truly gave weight to their words, and that was her brother. At their last meeting she had come to find out that her brother had had to fight Frost; though to what gain she couldn't guess but it still irked the young Were anyways. Tetradore had heeded his little sister to stay away from the stallion. Had it simply been Tobias telling her to keep away then it would surely have ended in a bloody fight. However, Nadya had obeyed...it wasn't like she had sought Frost out any of the other times either, his stalker-like tendencies doing that part for her. Although in that same conversation Nadya had also told Tetradore about Frost's invitation into his pack, she hadn't even made a decision about it, what with the obvious pros and cons of staying or leaving her current pack making it difficult. It wasn't just her she had to consider but the twins wellbeing. All the stress it caused and Nadya needed the time after closing to let the music take over and drown out all her thoughts.

Her white corset outfit sported black handprints cupping her chest and also her rear when she turned around, white lace garter stocking, with black lined white pump shoes. It was perhaps only with her grace as a dancer and her species that she was able to dance in those shoes too. Nadya wasn't really practicing as she was just letting the music take her and dancing. It worked in erasing all worries from her mind, her eyes closed as she moved with the musicâ€"until the song ended and a slow clap snapped her from her happy place. Those chocolate brown eyes opened and slid through the shadows to land on the very telltale figure of Frost. Even from a distance his snow cap hair was recognizable. A certain amount of scowl crossed her previously serene features, narrowing her gaze in his direction. There were quite a few select words she wished to retort with.

However, arguing with him first thing would accomplish nothing. Frost didn't go anywhere or do anything without reason and chasing him out before he's said or done his piece would be impossible. That much Nadya understood about him. Fine; he wanted a dance? She needed to practice. Nadya rolled her eyes before turning away from him to snatch up a small controller pad and starting the next song. The tune started up, weaving through the air guiding Nadya's movements once more. Unlike the previous song in which she had simply danced though, this one she sang too. Her movements took her from the back of the stage closer and closer to the front in which Frost had set up shop at the first table. She plucked up a black top hat on her way that had been sitting on a prop and twirled it between her fingers before settling it onto her head. Never through the routine did Nadya let her gaze waver for long from Frost.

Whether or not Frost had actually expected Nadya to give in to his tease was unknown. Nadya traveled down the few steps at the front of the stage that brought her down to Frost's level during the routine. She came within inches of him, just enough to feel the heat radiating from her body, as the song drew to a close. Nadya remained standing there for a brief moment when the music stopped before taking a few steps away. "What do you want, Frost?" Her delicate fingers plucked the top hat from her head and flicked it forcefully at his chest. "Come to make good on your threat to my brother and kill me and the twins?" Yes, let's start with her frustration on that topic.
