East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The burlesque was much as he remembered it to be. One finger callously traced the edge of his glass as what little of his gaze could be seen lingered upon the woman now on centre stage, her tight outfit and perfectly practised movements doing little to engage the equine just as they had failed to do the first time he had visited Nadya's establishment. Perhaps he had simply been...spoiled for choice, Nadya's routines far more engaging then whatever nonsense seemed to be on the stage tonight and yet the snowy-haired man lingered several moments longer all the same. The night was wearing on and yet so far Nadya had failed to appear, the man having begun to consider that she truly had hidden herself away within that sad little fortress Tetradore and the rest of the Nightshade pack called home. How truly unfortunate. The Ark presented more of a problem then he cared to admit and yet for now at least he remains content to dispel the thought. He would find a way into the Ark one way or another, Edie perhaps the source of some potential assistance in that regard, even Calliel- if the girl could be taught to control her shifts. He moves to push the glass away dismissively, hands tucked into the pockets of his jeans now as he stands, slipping as easily and unnoticed from the bar as he'd arrived. Nadya's scent is decidedly absent among even the waitresses tonight, the woman's mind, the mind he finds most readily, well out of his reach- assuring the man that tonight in the least- the girl was nowhere to be found.

The chill of the night air holds little sway over the man, Frost incapable of feeling it all the same as he moves to stride back the way he had come, lashings of white hair falling readily into his gaze, his mind already fixated upon his next act of business for tonight when a single stray thought readily brings the slim young man to a halt. He is used to Nadya's thoughts, capable of picking them out of a crowd with relative ease, a lingering thought in regards to Aidan, Tobias, Ark or Children his method in that regard. After all such thoughts were near exclusive to Nadya alone and for a moment the equine is near given to believe he had found her at last, his powers extended only further to brush more fully against the mind that offers them- only to find it decidedly foreign. His head merely inclines to the left, peering down and into the alleyway beside the burlesque to fixate on the figure hunched against the wall. This is not someone he knows, in fact, he hardly recalls this woman at all and yet Nadya's employees rarely gauged his interest. Indeed the woman herself fails to appeal to him in any fashion- her thoughts however have readily seized his attention.

Long, easy strides carry him towards the crouching young woman now, his own posture shifting into something decidedly relaxed as he pauses before her, those eternally deep, cool lyrics offered towards her now.

"Rough night?"

His form shifts slightly to lean back against the wall, one foot lifting to rest upon it in the same laconic fashion, each and every action decidedly purposeful now. After all, it would be unfortunate to scare away such a curious little creature, the man allowing the vaguest touch of a simper to trace his features in a further effort to merely ease any nervousness the girl may feel, her thoughts surely already beginning to shift away from those near daydream like tendrils of imagination that seemed to cling to the name 'Aiden'. His proximity to the woman now allowing the faintest scent of the panther in question to reach him. Hmm, Tetra had found himself a toy- how very intriguing.

"Is Nadya working tonight? She's a friend of mine."

His features remain wholly neutral, passive, regarding the woman easily now despite his knowledge that Nadya surely was not here, it hardly hurt to engage the woman in a little conversation now did it? If the girl worked here as he suspected she did then his mention of Nadya might well serve to make her less wary all the same. He hardly has any intention to harm her, not truly, yet the knowledge that Tetradore had so foolishly allowed something he surely valued to go wandering about in the dark was....surprising. He'd warned Tetradore of that once more, perhaps the panther simply hadn't believed him. Shame.

"I haven't seen you before, I thought I knew most of Nadya's girls."

His head inclines slightly, the barest flicker of a violet eye offered towards her before he looks away once more, powers continuing to press silently, delicately against her mind in search of any other useful information. If Tetradore so enjoyed encouraging Nadya to stay away from him, perhaps he might equally enjoy encouraging this one to stay away from Tetra in return. Such a pretty thing too, how unfortunate it would be to have to ruin her a little.

But first, he saw no harm in making a friend....
