East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

Nadya didn't dare break Tobias' concentration, as it was a much needed calm in the aftermath of the chaos, and watched as he continued to attempt to dry off only to take notice of his body for the first time as she was. She could tell he was realizing the same as she though on a different level, how different he looked clean, how very much more a man and less of an unkempt boy. "See, water doesn't have to be a bad thing...being clean for one is nice." Her comment broke the silence, following his gaze to the pool and the fabric still floating in it. "I'll get you some new clothes...better clothes." Nadya's mind was a whirl, difficult to concentrate as the tumble of emotions still boiled inside. All she knew was she felt alone and didn't want to be anymore, she had spent a couple months on her own once leaving her adoptive pack and after finding Tobias and her brother realized how much she needed the closeness of a pack.

Her features wrinkle in confusion slightly as Tobias graces his fingers against her arm, deciding to stand stalk still like an antelope cornered by a cheetah...if she didn't move it would stop. However, that didn't seem to be the case, his gentle gesture soon turning to swift movement, her body yanked forward closing the already small distance between them until she was flush against his. Nadya quickly braced her hands on his chest, perhaps with the intent to push away or keep some distance between them if only the breadth of her hands, but she was suddenly highly aware of his smooth skin and muscles beneath, distracted a moment by it and thus never tried such an attempt to push away. His lips against hers were a surprise, one that she should have stopped immediately, pushed him away or smacked him for such a thing...but couldn't. She had never felt that sort of care for Tobias beyond packmate but in this moment, the decidedly thorough possessive kiss shut down her thought process, drowning her only in the sensation of it until she pressed back returning the kiss.

Nadya was left breathless when Tobias broke the kiss, a good thing perhaps because she wasn't sure she had really been breathing, her mind hazy as it tried to return logical thought. She was still flush against Tobias' body, one hand moving away from his chest to grip at her towel which was attempting to unravel and slip from her body, never before so keenly aware of Tobias' nude form as she was now with every hard plane of his muscle pressed against her soft curves. "W...Wait..." His not so apology hardly registered to her as her gaze sought his, seeing such a dark rawness to them she had never seen before. She wished she could explain it but it was like her mind and body were two separate entities, her gaze locked onto Tobias', trying to figure out what was going on, her hand subconsciously gripped slightly at Tobias' chest, nails pricking the skin there. What had started the whole thing was still there, she could feel it, delighted at the closeness, burning brighter and hotter, stretching like a rubber band seeking to engulf Tobias entirely.
