East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better

Despite the precarious situation in which Sebastian found himself in, the man presented the rather bristly young woman with a suave simper. Already his own affinity began to fill the girl out in one fashion or another, inherently sensing the chemical signature she would best react to. For once, he'd suffice with just a pleasant 'how-do-you-do' to the gruffness in which he was received. Nevertheless, the man hardly flinched at the woman's brash lyrics. Instead, Sebastian offered an all too agreeable nod, fully intending to keep his hands to himself - for the time being. His eyebrow raised ever so slightly, his crystalline gaze shifted towards the waitress as she was called over towards their table with another mug of beer. He hardly bothered to intervene with the consumption of her alcohol. After all, the more inebriated she was, the more likely it was the vampire would survive this rather disappointing evening. It was a reasonable hope to foster given his only other alternative was accepting a stake to the heart. His nose wrinkled in subtle distaste at the woman's conclusion of his own feeding tendencies. "Not...quite." He commented with a soft sigh. "I prefer my lovers leave my bed alive thank you." He responded, leaning forward ever so slightly to rest his cheek on the edge of his hand, his gaze entirely steadfast upon clearly cynical woman regardless of the glares they received from the tables nearby.

A small, nonchalant shrug crossed his shoulders at the mention of his name. It was a particularly low blow and yet, like all things in life, Sebastian did his best to roll with the peculiar scenario he found himself unfortunately dropped within. "I believe it is Latin. It means I am either vulnerable, inspire awe and dread, or I should be ashamed of myself. Whichever you prefer." Really none of them described the Victorian vampire particularly well but Sebastian was fairly certain that she would find amusement out of the derogatory nature of his dubbance. After all, she seemed to hold the stereotypical notion that all species that were neither her own or mortal were worth death. Not that he could particularly blame her. After all, Sebastian went out of his way to avoid his maker for the same reason. "You never did answer my question, I didn't expect to find a hunter here..." He paused, his brightly colored gaze dipped to the nametag on her breast, "Gia....so what are you looking for out of this sad crowd of men?"

After all, Sebastian was a pleaser by nature - though how far that would get him tonight was another question entirely. Still, if it would let him see another day, the man was entirely prepared to be exactly what she wanted, minus the whole....being undead thing. But surely that was just a small trifling detail - right?
