East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

the sharpest lives are the deadliest to lead

His emerald eyes remained entirely steadfast upon the auburn haired vampire, watching her every movement as she drew herself up to face head on the woman that had so wrecked their lives. He was once again cast to this world as but a shred of the man he was, bound by her power to do only what her, in her grace, allowed of him. His instincts screamed at him and though he strove with every ounce of willpower he had it was still for naught under the weight of her afflicted control. The hiss of a feline momentarily dragged his gaze, his eyes narrowing ever so slightly at the animal, all too reminded of the role that would be enforced upon him in the days to come - to be hers once again. His lip raised ever so slightly, a flash of his sharply pointed canines given towards the fellow were before his gaze abruptly shifted back towards Isolt as she stepped forward. In those moments that therein followed, there was little the ebony feline could do beyond merely watch, his own growl reverberating deep within his hollow chest. He watched as the were-creature materialized next to his own incarnate nightmare, the silver collar he had so strove to rescue her from once again within the man's hands. He struggled in those moments before the man disappeared, only to reappear behind Isolt, successfully fastening the necklace around her neck with a hiss and a sizzle on the pallor of her flesh.

He watched without judgment as the vampire suddenly came alive, reacting with a frenzied passion he'd never before seen within the soul of the demure woman. His sensitive ears effortly picked up the crack of ribs breaking within the fellow's chest just as he too watched with that well practiced mute indifference as Isolt presented him with a thud at the foot of their mutual mistress. In a way, he was proud of her - for finally defying the female that had took so much from her, for not cowering in the fear that surely gripped her soul. He watched with a poised readiness, waiting for the reaction that would surely come from the woman he so particularly despised. A step - a single step was all she gave before the panther moved into action, his body once again disappearing into the darkness onto to again reappear at the woman's side though in truth, she was hardly his primary interest. On the contrary, his first goal was the jaguar that stalked beside her, knowing well how effectively Risque could use his kind against them.

He collided into the creature with a clash of claws and teeth, entirely surprised when Risque didn't immediately regain control of his muscular form. Rather, the felines were left to their own devices, the vampiress' attention clearly steadfast instead upon whatever it was Isolt occupied herself with in those moments. They rolled upon each other, twisting and contorting as felines do in a flurry of growls and snarls. He was all too aware of every time those claws cut into his flesh or his opponent's teeth bit into his shoulder - thankfully, his own experience within the animalistic ring he ran within the Westside saw the man a quick enough victory, disposing of the carcass of the beast before his attention fully turned towards Isolt and the she devil herself. His jaws parted, a rolling growl leaving his lips as he stalked towards them, thwarting any attempts she might have made to control him with his own teleportation. His emerald gaze shifted towards Isolt herself, ensuring the young woman was ready for the fight that was surely about to come - after all, with her own connection with Risque, this would hurt her far more than it would he.
