North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

It would seem the boy remains entirely unable to perceive the logical meaning behind the conversation before him, oblivious to the sarcasm within the girl's words as she seems fit to declare he is impossible, a lopsided grin touching his features as he regards her now, eyes narrowed slightly as if attempting to understand entirely what she means by this, seemingly having failed to understand at all the woman had not meant such a thing entirely literally.

"I am....Tobi."

Impossible, he thinks- is not his name and as such sees fit to correct her before settling himself before his dared meal, deciding mere moments later that caviar is not an enjoyable thing, attempting to scrap it from his tongue, fingers wiped against the table cloth, utterly oblivious to such regular social custom before the cunning creature offers it to the woman before him- attempting perhaps, to trick the girl into suffering the same fate as his own tastebuds. A dinner table, let along anything considered a delicacy is utterly unknown to the boy whom he spent so many years of his life within the city streets, trailing after a companion whom had believed him dead for sixteen years. The last time he had sat at a dinner table had been within the Tetradore family home all those years ago, ignoring his cutlery and busily dipping his hands into every dish despite Mom and Dad's continually request that he please not use his hands. Perhaps, had they lived, he may well have been a different person entirely, perhaps had he grown at Tetradore's side, rather then in his elusive shadow he may have been something more...someone more than the shadow of a man he was.

The girls mention of fish momentarily sees the young man distracted, his enjoyment of any form of seafood (once removed from the water) a surely obvious thing as he looks almost expectantly towards the Fox, as if believing she might yet present him with some sort of fish, oblivious to the nature of what he has just eaten so clearly despised before the offered wine bottle seizes his attention, clever, cunning mind relishing such puzzles as he moves to take it from her. For a moment he simply holds the bottle, turning it about in his hands, long fingers brushing atop the surface of the glass, seemingly searching for a lid of sorts, nails scraping at the crock momentarily before he simply bites down on the neck. He is nothing if not animalistic, instinct taking over in these moments, assured that the solution to all problems is simply to bite down, utilizing his own ability in these moments, shearing though the glass of the neck as it shatters and splinters, shards spiking into his tongue and lip, leaving a bloodied trail in its wake.

"Ouch!"

One hand moves to offer the bottle back to the woman, fingers moving to begin pulling shards of shattered bottle from his lip and tongue, seemingly oblivious to the damage he has just done, dropping bloodied shards onto the table before him as he scowls towards the she-fox.

"I think I....did it...wrong....it...bit me."

He moves to wipe his hand across his lips, smearing the blood aside, his body's natural ability to heal clearly serving him well in this moments as he points towards the now open, neck-less bottle.

"Pretty has to...drink it now. All...of it."

The sound of approaching footsteps is momentarily ignored, the boy oblivious to the return of the real Mrs and Mr Atkins as they head towards there room, surely about to be surprised by the Were's within....
