Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

It was a curious thing for Malia to be keen on Henry. Nadya just couldn't see it. It also didn't help when Henry's quick words of scolding for giving information about himself caused that uncertainty to enter Malia's eyes. It ruffled Nadya seeing her packmate put like that. Henry honestly didn't expect Malia to keep information like possible feralness from her Alpha did he? Perhaps the only saving grace was the arrival of the food, an outside person entering their proximity causing her to bite her tongue.

Nadya picked at her food and listened as Frost easily continued the conversation with Henry filling the silence her and Malia left. She couldn't help but to raise her brow at her mate's comment on offering Raven help with her feral side. There was a part of her that had hoped he had long since ignored the members of her brother's pack. She was by no means concerned for his safety, that she knew he was very capable of on his own in regards to the she-wolf, it was simply the matter of how close such...practice..was to home. Nadya could only assume that Frost would never bring that sort of thing even close to home...to her children. No, he would never endanger her children. Her attention shifted to Malia though, "You do have a habit of getting yourself into tight situations don't you?" Although prodding, her tone was still light towards her packmate. Trouble seemed to follow the coyote so hearing about an arrow was hardly surprising.

Once they were done with their meals, Nadya slid from her seat and practically scooped Malia up by the arm, entwining her own with the woman's. "There's something I want to show you." She smiled warmly at Malia as she led her away from the table where the boys still sat, glancing only briefly back at Frost. He had promised nothing would happen, in that she trusted him. Nadya led Malia to the back of the restaurant through a pair of double doors that opened up into a large outdoor garden. The pathway that wound through was lined with flowering shrubbery and twinkling lights, all leading through trestles to the main opening which held a marble statue of the birth of Venus. The water flowing from the shell she stood in illuminated with a light in the water basin. Nadya eased her hold on her packmate but didn't fully release her. "Don't worry about them, Frost just wanted to talk in private about something."

She eased onto one of the stone benches placed in a ring around the large fountain. "I used to come here to think; I loved the smell of the flowers and the lights at night. They hold events back here and there's an open garden area on the other side of those rose bushes that they decorate for wedding receptions."
