Even as the warlock barely held himself on his feet and slurred the words, he knew a certain set of eyes couldn't stop watching him. He hadn't let the pretty blonde far from his sight ever since he saw her moving on the dance floor, not that he expected anything to come of it. There was a time when he could take anyone home at the end of the night, but a lot had changed since then. He found the love of his life and he lost him all too soon. Then he let himself get pulled into a razed coven of lunatics that believed in some vampire god and when the woman they kidnapped got away, they chose to blame him and end his life a few times. Yeah, that could mess a guy up. He'd been killed and brought back to life by dark magic a few too many times. Maybe that was why he felt so fucked up now, or maybe that was all inside of him to begin with. Either way, Christian knew he could fantasize to that woman's body for weeks, but he didn't actually have a game plan for anything more. Of course, that didn't mean he would say no when she made her way over to his table. The rich warlock did like a girl with confidence, after all. She had the most rich pouty lips that he could already imagine grazing his teeth across. Her silky hair begged for his fingers and her dark eyes pulled him in like an abyss. As he slowly made his own way back to the table, Christian could only smirk, his steel eyes glittering as he watched her drink some Bourbon and make herself at home. He slid (more like fell) back into his seat and took the moment to admire her openly as she offered the sweetest smile, far too sweet to be genuine. Her compliment wasn't expected, though. He couldn't help but laugh. "You wouldn't get the gift to hear it, otherwise. I'm actually quite shy when I'm sober." He gave a sly wink as he reached over to pour himself another glass of Bourbon. When he found the bottle almost empty, he held it up for the bartender to see, shaking it a little. Joe scowled but nodded his head in understanding as he turned to reach for another bottle. Meanwhile, Christian turned back to the woman before him as he leaned forward. "Are you here alone?" |
