It was no surprise to her that Tobias wouldn't act so humble after the comment she had given him. It was either a male thing or a cat thing, but either way, he was very obvious to others feelings. Manners and consideration were never his thing. As his eyes continued to travel up and down her form she didn't feel as dirty or violated as other girls might have been. His eyes did not hold that predatory primal desire that some men held when she walked past them through the alleyways or the pier in the West. His dark eyes held an innocent touch to them, his fingers gently trailing up and down her side, tickling her waist as his fingers moved gently over the soft dark fabric. Deciding it was merely a cat thing she learned that he could 'see' and 'understand' by touch and it had taken awhile for her to accept it. Wearing a tight fitting attire was something she rarely ever did, but tonight she was willing to do something different. Even if the jagged scars that trailed up and down her arms and part of her exposed back were clearly visible, another rare thing to occur, she was quite pleased with herself that he seemed to approve her appearance tonight. After all she had to look good for her potential mate. While Tobi seemed distracted by Damon, her eyes shifted to him once, a small simper growing on her pale pink lips as the vivid memory of slapping him across the face came to mind. When the dark-haired vampire looked her body over, as she was fixing her shirt after shifting, he was given a very hard slap that carried a striking red mark on his face. The first victim of Raven's infamous ability at slapping. Davante, another victim by her hand, had currently joined their little gathering and she instantly stiffened at his presence. Explaining her dislike and small fear of the warlock to her dapper looking deviant, her nerves were instantly soothed as that familiar low growl rumbled in his throat. Puzzled as to why Tobi would point to nothing behind Davante her eyes widen as he promptly smacked the boy behind his head. A soft bark like laugh came out of the girl as she continued to stare at the Davante as he turned around, finding the entire thing hilarious. Trying to stifle her giggling she brought her hand to cover her lips, responding to Davante's smooth comment, her soft lyrics holding a sardonic tune.

"Because Tobi's etiquette is something to be copied."

Even though she...deeply cared for the boy even she had to admit he wasn't the greatest person to copy. Stony colored eyes shifted to the deviant as she gave him an apologetic smile knowing he may not understand what she had said earlier. With Davante given a proper lesson that he cannot be harmful to her again the curly-haired woman seemed appeased, if only slightly. While Tobi turned to face her the young woman would give him her undivided attention. As he reached out for her hand she would lift her hand into his allowing him to clasp it. As he held her hand, his thumb brushed over her warm silky skin, she noticed the whiter imprints from his teeth when he had first bit her hand. His thumb brushed over those rough marks as a somber simper reached her masked face. These touches of hands were the first attempts from both species to learn from one another and accept their new found closeness. The young girl was aware of this trick. She had performed it many times on him, and watched him do this with Nadya as well. So she would allow him this to change her opinion on Davante. Besides she wanted nothing more than to make him happy. Nodding her head some, shifting her eyes briefly from the warlock to the boy she was dating she would murmur softly to him.

"Okay...I will try to like him...I promise."

Her other arm would move upwards as her fingers trailed across her heart, making the promise cross, and sealing her commitment. All so that the boy will trust that she means what she says. It is the presence of another, a stronger and older presence that seemed to catch her attention the moment Tobi let go of her hand. Growling ever so softly at the threat her own head turned to see the elder looking vampire making his way to their little group. Ever so alert her back went rigid as she quietly watched him. Even though she and Tobias held the most powers within the city there was something humbling and frightening when facing an older supernatural creature. As Tobias moved her to stand at his side, a position she was used to filling, she quietly stood there lifting her head detecting his scent. Syn was not on him, but when an odd looking blonde vampire suddenly buckled down behind Antaros her eyes widen slightly in surprise. As he spoke to the blonde and then to Tobi the she-wolf quickly moved closer to her deviant companion. Her hand would reach for his as her thumb brushed over his calloused and rough skin, mimicking his touch earlier so as to keep him calm and focused on her. She would speak to the elder vampire before speaking to her companion.

"No...you are fine, you do not need to leave. Tobi he isn't from Syn...he is okay."

As she attempted to calm and distract the leopard she was unaware that there was someone else watching her. She could not feel his one violet eye trailing up and down her figure. Her attention being torn between keeping her dark-haired easily violent friend calm, to making sure that Serafina was okay, and attempting to keep her own troubled mind at bay. Being amongst others, especially the group consisted of mostly males, that feral mind of hers was trying to activate. One could say it was like a defensive mechanism, a dangerous one at that, and she did not wish to use it at all. The young woman turned around when she felt another form brushing past her. His cold soft voice caught her attention and she would turn her head, blue-grey eyes meeting the boy's face covered by his bright blonde locks. His words caused the girl to feel sick and angry. She would brush up against Tobi, her natural fear of males causing this, while her face remained stony. Pale pink lips pulled back as she noticed him approaching Alexis. Needing to move fast she grabbed Tobi's hand, forcing him to follow her. Softly she muttered to the boy as they passed dancing couples.

"He touched me...and he said a vulgar comment...and now he is talking to Alexis...not safe."

Her height may be small, but she walked swiftly through the crowd with her head up, long curly hair bouncing behind her shoulders. A soft glance was thrown to Alexis, her lips pulled back in a friendly grin, quite pleased to see that she had come. Yet when she turned her head around to face the boy her eyes narrowed coldly between the slits in her mask. The scars that ruined her face could still be seen through the fabric. Her shoulders were placed back as her lips pulled back, the smirk showing off her pearly whites, like any wolf would do when they wished to appear threating. Indeed she was short, and she was in a dress, and sure she had too many scars to count on her flesh, but there was an air of authority and power that hadn't been seen in the girl before. The need to protect Alexis, the desire to show her potential mate that she was indeed a prize to be won helped the girl's self-confidence boost. Stepping closer to the Were-Horse, her hand lifted and slapped his face, as quick as a viper's bite, the Were-Horse becoming the fourth victim to receive her infamous slap. Surely the sound of her hand meeting his face was enough to cause the entire festive room to pause if only for a moment. Her usual soft voice held a rare vicious bite to it as eyes narrowed.

"I believe you are the only ass in this room...and not nice looking at all."

Reaching her hand out to Alexis she would pull the fox-girl near her and turn around sharply to walk away. Keeping Alexis near her, all the while her head turned towards Tobi, tilting her head wanting him at her side. While the girls left the Ass at the bar she gave the girl small grin her voice returning to that soft sound.

"You look lovely tonight. Tobi and I were hoping to see you here."

Yet it would seem her attention on Alexis was sadly limited. There was a scent in the air that caused her to squirm. Keeping her hold on Alexis, her other hand would grab Tobi's, as she caused the Weres to follow her around the room once more. That scent, that small amount of blood caused by a splinter caught the girls attention far too well. The need to be close to her Mistress, even if it was a superficial wound, was far too great at this point. The need to protect her was far too strong in this moment, thanks to her aggression she showed towards the Were-Horse. Stopping in front of the Dark Hunter and the Warlock, her eyes turned to Serafina looking her over quickly, searching for anything out of place. She was not pleased that her Mistress would continue to be around the Dark Hunter that had attempted to kill them in the woods nor did she find Davante a proper companion either. Glaring at Serafina's two suitors her hands would be placed on her hips as she continued this uncanny role of control. Gesturing Alexis and Tobias to Serafina her gaze returned to the witch she was attached to.

"Alexis and Tobi, this is Serafina...and she is my witch...I protect her and keep her safe. Serafina which one of these males harmed you?"

Ever so the watchdog tonight. She already slapped one supernatural creature...did anyone else want to be next tonight?
