South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Thankfully Kato knew Edie wouldn't lie to him on the topic of someone trying to change her. That and he did honestly doubt his sister would attempt that. It just wasn't in her personality. The subject was easily glided over to the more pressing matter at hand...getting Edie taken care of. Kato understood that his words would be lost on Edie but there was a plan and at the moment translating was only going to slow it down. Best to get it moving first and then explain. It was quite the clever plan if he did say so himself, bribing the children into doing the hunting for him. It would allow him to ensure her carnivore side was satisfied and still allow him to remain at her side.

That was until Edie spoke of going with them once the candy had thoroughly melted in her mouth. "What?" Kato's brows furrowed at his girlfriend in confusion and obvious disagreement at her words. "The kids know where to go...you've never been out there." It was proving to be a futile attempt to argue with her as she was already backing away from him. "Edie..." He warned softly, only to watch her very near disappear before his eyes until she was wriggling out from under the pile of clothes. "No, Edie...it's not safe." Kato made to grab at the small fox but she was in fact skilled in weaving out of his grasp, rubbing against his leg before darting off. He would have followed after her had his sister not taken hold of his shoulder. "Let her go, the kids know the boundary so she won't go far." Kato's entire body was tensed up, no longer able to see Edie's small fennec fox form through the grass. "Kato, go back to building your hut. She'll be fine, you'll see. You're going to chase her away if you keep hovering." Kato huffed slightly at his sister before regathering the pile of soft grass he had collected and trudging back to the village.

Mosi and Amare lacked the ability to shift on command yet due to their age so they were left like the other children to run wild in their human forms. The children intent on earning the klappery had dispersed in opposite directions. The Buhari children had slowed their run as their gaze started to search for the tracks of the wild prey. The whispered words between them were foreign though from context it wasn't hard to discern Mosi telling Amare to keep quiet from him constantly raising his finger to his lips. They didn't know Edie had planned on joining them or the fact that her Were form wasn't a rhino...or even something so small. So when Mosi heard the rustling of the grass and tugged Amare to keep still it was assumed it was just another creature from the savannah. That same train of thought was what drove the pair to see Edie as their ticket to that candy. Delight crossed the pairs features, though they didn't know what Edie was since they'd never seen a fennec fox, it was a creature about the size of a meerkat so why wouldn't it be meat. Mosi leapt forward at the small fox while Amare began tossing rocks at it to strike it down.
