South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

kissing death and loosing my breath
The young witch had thought particularly little of the large and entirely overly friendly canine that had found her. This place, it would seem, somehow attracted their kind - even more so to her though why she hadn't the faintest idea. A soft sigh left the young woman's lips, her fingertips reaching up to gingerly massage her temples as she turned her attention back towards the forest floor. She bent down next to a small shrug to pluck from it what she was rather certain was sage. She brought the leafy thing to her nose, tentatively sniffing for that earthy scent that so personified it. There was some hope to the day after all, at least, she was determined to find something altogether beneficial minus being glomped by the creature behind her. She could hear the canine's paws as she clawed so roughly at the ground beneath them and yet the creature hardly earned a single glanced towards it. She was determined to show the thing she was not it's friend and hopefully, it would get the hint soon enough to move on. Unfortunately for the raven haired witch - such would not be the case. She heard the abrupt bark and with a huff the young woman stood up, sage in hand, turning to face the canine.

She hardly saw the dog's body coming, at least not until it collided with her and for a moment she stumbled backwards in an effort to maintain her ground before the girl went toppling over into the dirt with a loud "Oomph!". A small groan left her lips at the added weight of the dog, the girl reaching up to rub the back of her head as the creature on top of her suddenly began to growl at her. It had, at the very least served to gather her attention, her slate hued gaze widening ever so slightly as she eyed the creature's teeth. "Okay, okay. You have my attention." Her voice had turned quite softer, clearly recognizing the vulnerable situation she found herself in as she tried her best to calm the clearly aggravated dog. Her gaze glanced upwards at the creature's eyes and yet there was no immediate connection between the greyhound and the Dark Hunter she'd only just reconnected with. After all, why would there be? She hadn't anticipated that Tamzin herself might be turned into some creature of some kind.

Her eyebrow rose at the sudden shift in the dog's demeanor, the girl wincing away from the lick that caressed her cheek. This was so not what she had signed up for when she decided to venture into the forest this morning. A soft whine left the witch's lips and yet she made no effort to push the canine off of her, already learning that lesson. It was better to be licked then have her face literally bitten off. She hadn't expected, however, that sudden defeat that so crushed her companion, nearly making the girl feel bad as she watched the dog climb off of her. She lifted herself to her elbows, watching the canine with suspicion for a moment much in the same way the dog so seemed to watch her. The creature, however, eternally seemed to be taking the girl off guard as it abruptly rose to it's feet, spinning on his heels, and dashed into the forestry once again. Well....she guessed that was over? "What the hell was that..." She muttered to herself ever so softly, dragging her fallen figure to settle in a sitting position. She glanced around her, noting her fallen bag and the herbs that had poured out of it.

It took her a moment to regather her supplies and thus herself in some sort of orderly fashion, the witch hardly even considering the disappearance of the greyhound any further. After all, if the dog was gone, it was gone, right? At least, that was what she had thought before she heard the rustling of the shrubbery again, seeing her head snap up as her stormy gaze found the sight of the dog's form once again. She had hardly expected the dog to listen to her, much less understand her. Serafina's gaze traced the form of the rabbit that fell to her feet, her hands reaching out to pick it up. "All right, you definitely have my attention now. Can you answer yes or no questions? Are you a were?" She inquired, for once willing to entertain this notion that maybe there was more to this greyhound then she had originally thought.
