South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Nadya Tetradore

The more that Scarlett spoke, the more Nadya questioned about her. The canines unsurety did not stem from a insecurity in herself but the unknown of the world in general. This was made all the more apparent by Scarlett's questioning after her children. Nadya couldn't hide the confusion that crossed her gaze, tilting her head slightly at what at first sounded like a very odd thing to not know. Of course she could have kids...they weren't vampires. "Yes, I have twins, and they are like me. Well, they're Leguars because their father is a leopard and I'm a jaguar." It was obvious in that moment that Scarlett was not a natural born Were but someone who was bitten. But yet, she should have been with the one who turned her, learned from them.

Nadya noted the way in which the wolf eyed the goat, accepting the meal but not approaching any closer. Slowly the ebony feline rose to stand, thin tail lashing from side to side before picking her way a few paces away from the goat to give Scarlett some space to feed. She could understand and respect not wanting to feed beside someone you didn't quite know. It was a vulnerable position after all. Nadya perched herself back down as Scarlett concentrated on parting the skies. Immediately the warmth touched her and Nadya's muscles relaxed beneath it. This was why cats were found more often pressed against each other or in piles, greedy for the warmth and comfort it brought. Honestly there was only one person Nadya would think to send the wolf in regards to helping her gain control over her powers. She didn't know any other weather manipulators so the only other option was the one person known for getting someone to reach their true potential. But she didn't dare utter that right now. One ear flicked back in thought though, "Have you ever been in a pack before? Where is the person who changed you? They should have taught you all about Weres and taken you into their pack."

The panther couldn't think of any other bitten Weres she knew in order to guide the wolf too. Her adoptive pack was whole towns away and her pack here were all natural born. It was obvious that this one needed help though. Perhaps it was Scarlett's easygoing demeanor or the more maternal side that now resided in Nadya from the twins but her thoughts rested on helping if she could. "Do you have a place to stay? I run a burlesque in the East and you could stay in one of the offices there. It's not much but it's a roof over your head and a little kitchen behind the bar downstairs. I'm always looking for a waitress as well if you need work." It was the best spur of the moment offer she could make, a safe place to sleep and eat and work if she wanted it. If the thought of pack life made the wolf nervous then it was an alternative from taking her to the Ark which was intimidating in itself without taking her to Aidan. No, Nadya could just as easily help guide the girl into the Were world from the burlesque.
