South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

There was a small smile on the Beta's face as she combed through Alexis' hair, listening to the way she described not being allowed to wear makeup as a child. "My ex didn't like it either. I wasn't allowed to wear it. Most of my knowledge of it came from coming to Sacrosanct," She commented softly as she gently turned the girl away from the mirror. "No looking until I'm done. I want you to be surprised." She continued to fuss over her hair, letting out a breath. "So I get what you mean about that. But you've got very nice skin naturally. Makeup will only enhance that. But really, you don't need it." She smiled big at the girl's eagerness that she might sparkle. "Indeed."

"You won't rip anything, promise. And if you do, we'll just get another dress sometime," She hardly cared much for any particular item of clothing - outside of a few of Kato's t-shirts that she'd turned into sleep shirts. She felt the girl jump as she burned herself, but she merely shook off her concern. "Just a little burn. I'll be fine in an hour or so." The pain in her finger throbbed, but her power limited her to healing herself, so there was very little she could do about it. Frost wouldn't heal her for a tiny burn, and she wouldn't belittle herself enough to ask. Instead, she just focused on asking about the girl's life, nodding at the mention of Ireland.

"I'm from Yorkshire, myself," She said pleasantly as she continued to curl her hair. "We holidayed in Dublin a few times there as a child. I loved it. I wanted to go back as a teenager, but I was... otherwise engaged." She winced slightly. Beck had refused to let Edie go, and as such she'd been stuck in bloody Yorkshire the entirety of her teenage years while she watched the others her age explore Europe. It was certainly something she was still bitter about. Luckily for her, the other fox had a way of pulling her from her thoughts, this time by mentioning that she didn't have a place to stay.

"I stayed in the woods when I first came to Sacrosanct. Didn't have a penny to my name," She pursed her lips together. How she would have loved to rub her earnings from her weekend in Vegas to her home pack. "That's not the case any more, and as such I'm going to make sure you don't sleep in the woods anymore, Alexis. You deserve a roof over your head." She let out a breath as she released the last curl, putting the curling iron away and moving to douse her hair in hair spray. "I have some... assets now. The very least I can do is get you some cute clothes and an actual place to stay. You'll stay here tonight. I have a feeling we're both going to be too inebriated to worry about that tonight. And I'd rather make sure you're safe. I'm sure my boyfriend won't be too terribly annoyed if you crash in our bed." She teased

She paused from her rambling as the girl reached for her hand. Puzzled, Edie allowed her to take it. Every bit of her was confused as to what was happening, up until the moment that the burn healed on her skin. Edie lifted her gaze, catching the woman's gaze. "Yon can heal?" She said softly, biting her lower lip. She remained silent as she went back to working on making sure each curl was perfect, pinning back pieces as she went. She couldn't help that her mind wandered to Frost, that that very power of hers had been what intrigued him in the first place. It had been that alone that had made her useful to him. How much of it had been a real interest in her and how much of it had merely been him settling when he couldn't have Alexis?

"Does yours... have limits?" She said after several minutes of silence, her voice more subdued than what she had previously used with the girl. "Mine... does. I can't heal myself."
