South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

In was an absolute shock that Raven was as she was, after all this time. After all those years of being tortured and abused by those that should have never treated her in that particular way, it was a shock that the she-wolf was actually capable of being empathic for others. Her ability to trust was damaged, but over time she learned slowly that there were some individuals in this world that she could indeed trust completely. Never would she ever be able to easily trust others at a first introduction, but over time and with a lot of work, it was possible. It was amazing in a way that she could contain all this emotion and not lock it away as others would have done should they have experienced what she had. She was a female and so naturally she would be emotional, but take in the fact that her emotions were still in state was quite interesting in a way. It was these emotions that Raven relied on. Her fear caused the girl to be calm and extremely observant. Her anger at Frost, for all the harm he did to her in the past that kept her focused, understanding that if she died with him tonight â€" he could no longer bring pain and suffering to herself or her pack. Her weakness was being a martyr, and perhaps it was beaten into to, to act and think of herself in such a way. She was willing to die so that no harm would come to them, and if that meant staying here with Frost and being tortured for the last time â€" then so be it. She cared deeply for her pack, and although he was attempting to make her feel guilty, in having her wonder what Tobias would have left of her when she was dead, it would not stop her from making up her mind. Her death meant their safety, then she would be willing to stab herself and end her life now.

However, there was a side of her that was also selfish, and who could blame her for feeling that way? Wasn't she allowed to want to live? There was so much she wished to do, to see, and to experience. Indeed she loved Tobias quite possibly more than she ever would for anyone else, she cared for her pack deeply and how much help could she possibly be if she was nowhere here. Who would help Tobias cope and understand that she was gone, forever? He was different. He was unique and she couldn't imagine how he would turn out once he was able to comprehend and understand. The pain in her leg was tremendous and it seemed to help enlighten the girl to not be so willing to give up. As she listened to Frost goad her, her pink lips pulled back as she released a low growl, warning him to shut up. Blue-grey glared at him for a moment and she looked back at her chains, lifting her arms up noticing how laxed they were. It was the sound of those heavy footsteps coming back that caused the girl to shuffle in the dark part of her corner, noticing how the Hunter seemed entirely focused on Frost. The sound of her chains unlocking caused her to blink rapidly in shock as she felt the weight on her ankles, wrist, and neck disappear, watching intently how the chains returned to the walls. As she attempted to figure out her plan to get away she had no idea that her feral side, now feeling freedom and knowing it was threatened, began to overpower her mind. Unable to control it she allowed the shift to overcome her feeling her mentality slowly slip away.

It would seem her feral side was able to overcome the drug that curbed its ability to turn into is bear size, the creature suddenly snapping her jaw around the exposed arm of the Dark Hunter. With a low snarl the creature began to thrash back and forth, taking the limb and the Dark Hunter with her. It was the sudden feeling of something sharp entering behind her neck that caused the creature to whine and snarl in retaliation. Quickly the lupine released the arm, but when again at the same location, her body moving over Frost, unknowingly giving the male the ability to have the time to escape on her back. It was the feeling of the silver blade burying into her chest that caused her to let out a wail, one paw lifted to smack the Dark Hunter down. Grey-trimmed ears heard the sound of doors being opened, the cold wind that rushed down the corridor promised the feral creature, as she inhaled the scent of fresh air, that freedom could be had. With a low growl she took a step forward towards the Dark Hunter as he laid in his pool of blood, the creature wanting to end him now, but someone or something, urged her to leave him alone. Quickly she moved down the hall, as best as she could with a stabbed leg, neck and chest, heading towards the door, but as soon as she stepped outside, she felt something cling to the back of her wounded leg, and there on the end of it was a larger black-pelted wolf that held the same eyes as her own. The proud, feral creature let out a growl mixed with a whine, as her ears fell back against her dial as her tail bent down underneath her. Suddenly Raven was in control, her back leg shaking the other wolf off her, as she turned around and backed away from the creature, her mind reaching out to both the wolf and Frost that was still on her back, as she weakly croaked out, a word Raven never thought she would ever be able to utter for the rest of her life.
