South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The unprovoked rush of movement that comes as the companion to the peeling back of the canine's upper lip and the ominous internal thunder that rattles away within points the proverbial accusatory finger at a folly Isolt was entirely unaware that she had perpetrated. The tender pillows of her lips draw inwards, pulling uncomfortably against the most damnable evidence of her newfound... form. Her digits delve into the mossy bark of the tree to which she clings, finding some phantom solace in the earthen steadiness it owes her as she withdraws only further from the somewhat familiar wolf. In the immediate aftermath of her presumed "rebirth" Isolt is innocently bereft the valuable acumen of her own strength, of the plentiful as-of-yet untapped vein that is her heightened physical prowess. In her ignorance, she is lead to believe instinctually that this wolf presents her a rather formidable threat. It is to the benefit of both individuals that she remains ignorant to reality... for now.

"I'm sorry," she chokes out, her apology entirely genuine for it has never been in her persona to feed from the fear of another person, much less find herself the cause of it. "I don't know if I can." A single hand rises to cup her mouth, trembling at the feel of fangs against the tender cushions of her lips, eyes clenching shut as her brow furrows in the deepest concentration. She applies as much pressure as she can rightly tolerate, pressing against the cylindrical incisors until the metallic tang of her own blood glides pointedly unto the fleshy slab of her tongue. Heavy lids draw back from her eyes, defeat sparkling there just as determinedly as it ever had before as she presses her body into the tree beside her. A sigh seeps ever so gently from her lips, whispering into the silence betwixt them that is interrupted only by the steady downpour of the torrent as it rages overhead. Every tightened rope of muscle that has been pulled taut over bone grows lax as defeat and exhaustion pilfer from her whatever dwindling resolve she might have been clinging to. And then... with a soft clicking the precarious spires of her fangs retract. Dainty fingers caress the now-smooth line of her teeth, igniting some salacious fallacy of hope that this might signal a return to normalcy.

A small spark that is smothered quite effectively by the voice of the wolf beside her. Oceanic blue eyes meet those of the peculiar canine, considering her for a long moment before she finally mutters a response. "Whatever this is." With that, she rises upon still-trembling legs, cords of crimson plastered to a face that is still dissected by lines of blood. "You don't have to stay with me. You can just... go," Isolt offers in a voice that, while not entirely unkind, wholly betrays the emotional depths to which she has plummeted. At no point during her life has she felt quite so alone, quite so forsaken, as she does now. Truly she has nowhere to go, and yet the young redhead begins to traipse through the slippery muck, her trajectory unclear, toned arms hugging tight to her body in some vain attempt to stifle the tremor that runs gruesome waves throughout her body.
