South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Kato Buhari

Kato would have probably grumbled and complained about the whole prospect of a shopping ordeal but decided to drop it. A brief moment of thought crossed his mind that perhaps he could just sit there with the rest of the men and she could just get the things he needed. That he could tolerate far better than being forced to try things on. "Ok, ok." He sighed in relent before grabbing their bag once more and moving on to their transportation now protected from the cold and rain in the sweater. Internally though he gruffed at the confining feeling and the material being itchy against his skin.

It could honestly be said that the Wererhino wasn't a very observant man; ever so stereotypical in that department of his gender. However, the shift in Edie's body language did grab Kato's attention. This Edie, nervous and fiddling Edie wasn't his Edie, the sassy firecracker that he was familiar with. It wasn't quite like the nervousness that took over when she joined him to Africa, a nervousness that was normal when meeting the family of your partner. This was a different nervousness and due to what Edie had told him on the plane he had doubted the trip was a good idea but had thought her tenseness would ease after telling him. He had thought her behavior due to having hid her past from him. Although he would very much like to crush this ex of hers and give her family the what for he couldn't think of what would have her still so...reserved. What did she think her old pack was going to do?

Kato briefly unlaced their fingers to wrap his arm around her, taking her hand once more and pressing a kiss to her temple in reassurance, mumbling against her skin, "I won't let anything happen to you, you know that." So he changed the subject in attempt to get her out of dwelling about her past and onto what the pair of them could actually see in this sodden country. He listened as Edie went on with a list about possible things to do. "I've never been to a museum." He mused lightly with a small smile. Museums were indoors at least out of the cold rain.

When the bus stopped he followed Edie off and onwards to their next mode, a train this time which was at least a bit less...rocky. Kato nodded, "I'm fine." Again he reminded himself to later test this theory of a motion sickness power she had perhaps come into. For now just getting to their destination was priority. Kato was fine with the silence that fell over them in the train; they had spent many moments in silence together, especially beneath the stars in Africa. He had hardly noted the time passed until Edie was once more standing and informing them they had reached their destination. A smirk passed his lips, "And I thank York for this spectacular gift." His free hand rested gently on her waist for a moment before following Edie from the train.

Kato took a moment once off the train and out of the station to glance around the street that they trekked down. "Why don't we just stop in there?" He indicated what looked like a men's warehouse. Of course he wanted to go to the hotel and procrastinate and hopefully wiggle out of the whole thing but perhaps a little shopping would loosen Edie up again. She had seemed to inherent that women's quality at least. He smiled softly as he took the lead this time in guiding Edie into the department store. "I'll just stay here with our bag and you can pick whatever you want." He dropped the duffel by one of the lounge benches were a few other men sat, a mixture appearing both local and tourist whom seemed to have had the same idea as Kato or were at least reserved to their fate of wearing whatever their significant other picked out long ago. "Then we can go to the hotel."
