South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

He doesn't seem to readily understand my notion of the secrets not being in the papers but just as he is content to let it drop and move on, I, too, am okay with talking about something else. He seems pleased enough that I am aware of his title as royalty and that seems to be enough for him. I just wonder why he would come here to be a righthand to another queen if he himself already owns his own kingdom? Was he just that bored or is he running from something? Are the council threatening him if he goes back or is it something more? I have a weakness for curiosity.

I don't miss the look of confusion when I mention fries and yet he's quick to compose himself and say that he can do that as if he knows exactly what I'm talking about. Well now I'm just all the more convinced that I need to take this guy out and show him how to really live.

The subject change to our more athletic extracurriculars is welcoming and he seems to be more into it anyway. He seems amused that I call supernaturals arrogant and asks if I don't enjoy a challenge. My eyes twinkle flirtaciously at this question as I tilt my head. "I'll never hesitate on a challenge that's worth it. It's the lost causes that I don't appreciate, the ones too self absorbed to think of anything but themselves. They'd better be a fine specimen indeed and up for the kinky stuff like duct tape over the mouth if I'm going to go near that." I chuckle.

His assurance that he found someone worthy is a little disappointing. I guess that means I have less of a chance, anyway, but I never call it a lost cause. I tilt my head and shrug. "Perhaps you're right. Maybe you know a good dating site for that kind of stuff that I haven't stumbled onto yet? Or maybe you have an equally attractive brother that you're not telling me about." I give him a playful grin.

The subject then changes to the council and my workings with them. HIs caution is obvious the moment he knows the link between us but my words seem to assure him that I know nothing of the kidnapping that brought him here or what they want with him. Of course now I'm intrigued more than ever to find out. I shake my head at his question. "No, but I intend to find out. They have no right to harass you without due cause, and certainly not to take you against your will for some unknown purpose. Sounds almost cult-like to me. I wonder if the hunters were not being pushed by something other than the council but either way, I'll look into it. Would you recognize one of the hunters who jumped you if I got a picture or something?"
