South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Raven was blessed to be such an observant creature. It was rather a good trait to have. This particular trait allowed her to process and think things through in a timely manner. Even when under pressure she was capable of taking the time to analyze and comprehend the situation at hand. It was a blessing feature to have. Already this talent of hers was being in use. It was absolutely peculiar for an individual to harness the ability to bring things to life and death. This particular power was reserved for God, Gods or Fate. This was a power that no mortal person could wield nobly, but Dorian was not mortal and he was of noble blood. For whatever reason it seemed that this gift, or curse, was his. Raven knew very well that she may not be right. Perhaps Dorian could not bring to things to life or death, but then how else could one explain the dead rabbit coming to life, the flowers growing from the fallen log or the grass that wilted and died underneath him. The lupine had no idea what else it could be, but she did know that with a new power came so much instability. As the Fae King stood up and looked at what he created and destroyed, she watched as his eyes closed keeping her shoulder and resting against his leg. Looking upwards her mind pressed into his gently, her tone holding a curious note, harmless.

"Are you nocturnal? I thought the Fae was diurnal?"

As a wolf, she was nocturnal. She preferred the darkness and the soft touch of the silver light of the moon. She was not fond of the sunlight, finding it too bright, too exposing. However, it was her human part that reveled within the daylight hours, this side of her fearing the night and all that it cloaked under the darkness. It was an internal struggle, something that Raven did not show to others, not even with her own pack mates. There were days when she would rather be up all night, running around, doing whatever it was her instincts demanded of her. At times when her mate was far too antsy and running amock at night, she would join him, maybe he thought it was to calm him down, but secretly she wanted to participate in whatever playful scheme he was up to. Faes, she thought, were creatures that were creatures that enjoyed the sunlight perhaps she was wrong. As she stood there listening to Dorian speak, she feels his hand slide along her dial and down her neck, to the spot right between her shoulder blades, and suddenly back up again. For a moment she didn't mind being stroked like this, she rather enjoyed it, but oh that observant trait crept back up immediately. Softly she speaks her words faintly getting softer, weaker.

"Your Highness...I...I suddenly do not feel well..."

For a moment the lupine felt extraordinary. She felt so very good, happy, uplifting in such a way. Yet all those very good feelings were rapidly twisting and changing to something completely different. She felt cold, nauseating, and tired. She could not keep herself standing on her four legs. Instead she stumbled away from the Fae King, her body dropping to the ground unceremoniously. Her breathing was slowing down drastically and her eyes were slowly closing completely, as her body came to an unnerving stillness.
