South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

That ever present smile of bliss crossed the young man's features as he repositioned ever so slightly in the lap of his lover. He understood well enough Henry's nervousness when it came to his cooking, considering how much Sterling himself so seemed to obsess over all aspects of food. And yet, he knew well that the man hardly appreciated cooking as much as he did. Frankly, all he cared about was that Henry was willing to be his test subject for those meals, everything else was merely an added benefit. "Well, I liked it all the same." Sterling responded, entirely determined to ensure his lover knew well his success on this. After all, the warlock found himself entirely happy in this moment, with food in his stomach and settled against Henry. His own head shifted ever so slightly into Henry's fingers as the man's touch gingerly caressed his darkened locks. When was the last time they had a moment as peaceful as this? Even before the pair finding themselves here. He couldn't remember the last time they'd been able to simply exist in each other's arms. It felt far too fleeting. That comfort, that ease he found now, it contributed entirely to Sterling's decision that the pair might find some kind of vacation to their old home, for a chance of more moments like this.

However, it was that comment of their future home that so seemed to catch his companion off guard. A grin danced across Sterling's features as he glanced upwards at his lover, a small shrug crossing his shoulders. "Well, I do want some time to ease into it. I mean, we're not buying a house tomorrow or anything. But it is going to happen Henry, and...I'm just...looking forward to when it does." He saw little harm in admitting that, even if he wanted to take things slow, he was still very much looking forward to having those moments of waking up in the same bed, of loving the man he rested against, and of too sharing the home they would have together. Sterling reached up, his fingertips gingerly brushed against Henry's cheek in his own glimpse of affection. He wasn't going anywhere, even if he was taking things one day at a time. It was Henry's mention of the yard that distracted the young warlock, his lips momentarily pressed together in thought as his hand slowly fell down to his own chest. "The yard, hm?" He inquired, his forehead wrinkling, "If you're restricting me to the yard we have to get a greenhouse. Otherwise everything is going to die all over again." Winters here were harsh, of that even Sterling was well aware of, his love for his plants certainly no secret between the two and the need to protect that which he was going to place effort into growing was entirely steadfast within him. Still, he was getting ahead of himself, wasn't he?

The topic of vacationing in New York was enough to bring that smile back to his features, especially when Henry agreed to allow him to go with him. It was certainly going to be an awkward flash from the past but yet, maybe it would do them some good? Maybe not. He had no idea really but he was looking forward to a vacation with Henry all the same. "All right! I'll ask about it when I go in tomorrow and see how long I can get off, okay?" He commented, clearly quite pleased with himself and the prospect all together. "It'll be great." He added after a moment's thought, "It'll be nice to have some time with you without work being so demanding on us both."
