South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The Ripper

William Jack Holloway

After two hundred years of being on the run, William was certainly not afraid of being in an alleyway with a weapon pointed at his chest. Ah, he'd lost count of the amount of times that this exact scenario had played out and frankly, he was bored with it all. Still, even despite that, he found that he didn't particularly want to be shot in the chest. That would be unfortunate to heal, and there was always the risk that he would actually, you know, die. Again. Either way, it wasn't terribly scary for the Hunter and frankly, he wasn't sure the faerie would actually shoot him. Still, even despite all that, William was aware that it was distinctly odd for him to so quickly ramble about the girl he was seeing with a gun pointed at his chest. But still, if he was going to die, shouldn't he have Vhalla on his mind? Or rather, when did it get to the point that Vhalla should be the one on his mind at this point? Were they at that point? Did he want to be at that point?

William, though he wouldn't admit that he was concerned at all, did seem to visibly relax as soon as the weapon was put away. Even if he didn't think the man would shoot, no one wanted to have a gun pointed at his chest. "You know, why does everyone use guns these days? What's the matter with the simple art of knives and swordplay. Guns are so messy." He sighed as he leaned back against the wall with his arms crossed, informing the faerie that he knew exactly what he was. After all, his very body tingled with that knowledge of what species he was. "Sorry, Troy. Perhaps you should let your aura tell you things. You know, I'm not going to hurt you, but a lesser Hunter, you might not have got so lucky." He shrugged. After all, his words weren't a threat. Merely a warning.

The man's next words, however, entirely threw him. William sputtered just slightly as he watched Troy. "Famous?" He said nervously. Oh. Oh god, he knew. He knew exactly who he was and what he was, and there was enough fear in William's bones that he almost, almost wanted to end the faerie for even mentioning it. What had happened those months in Whitechapel were not who he was, and he would not allow that to be his legacy. "I'm hardly a bloody celebrity. And if that's what it takes to be famous, I don't want it." He muttered. No, he'd much rather have the kind of celebrity that he'd had once upon a time on those London streets, where the simple title of Duke had been enough to make him popular enough that everyone wanted to talk to him. Everyone wanted to be his friend once upon a time. How he wished that he could go back to that. It had been such a simpler time.

"Don't tell a bloody soul, Troy." William said simply, though he didn't have any fight left in him regarding his legacy of Jack the Ripper. Even thinking the words made him cringe. "That wasn't me. I couldn't help it. I didn't have control."

But darling -- it's only human nature.
